Has anyone seen this anime???

synopsis

Eureka Seven is a story in a fictional world about a fourteen-year-old boy named Renton Thurston who enjoys "reffing", the activity of using a board to ride on the invisible "trapar" particles that permeate the air. He particularly idolizes Holland, the leader of a group of reffers called Gekko State. The story revolves around Renton's joining Gekko State and his budding relationship with the mysterious Eureka, a female member of Gekko State and pilot of the LFO (a kind of reffing mecha) Nirvash typeZERO. When Renton and Eureka together pilot the Nirvash, powered by the mysterious "Amita Drive", it becomes almost invincible, and sometimes liberate a monstrous ammount of energy in a phenomenon named "The Seven Swell".

I've watched about 24 eps of this anime.. I really like it! its a bit of a mix of animes! I keep seeing naruto in renton (there voiced by the same guy).. So I keep noticing them acting the same way... Wouldn't supprise me if renton char is loosely based on naruto....

Has no one seen this anime????

Actually it just started airing last week on cartoon newtork's adult swim ^_^ i've only seen the 1st episode so i dont know what to make out of it yet

Yer Its a really good series! But I hear the dubs do little for it! they got one of the power rangers doing rentons voice!

Like alot of the adult swim anime it starts off all light hearted having fun with some light filler eps where they just skim along, then it gets interesting with the story!

Though Nirvash isn't the greatest mech ever, I love the seven swell attack he does! Plus the theme tune is great!

o this is what its kinda about

The main character in the naime is a boy named Renton who leaves home to join the surfer dudes of the hip underground organization Gekkostate. But he soon discovers that hanging with the masters of cool isn't the never-ending party he expected. And to add insult to injury, he can't make it to first base with the lovely Eureka, the pilot of the legendary LFO mecha Nirvash, and his reason for joining Gekkostate in the first place.

I also just finished watching the last episode of Eureka Seven... One of the best, if not "the" best...

What a Masterpiece... I'll never forget how great Eureka Seven was in it's entirety and complex...

I've seen all the subs before I saw an episode of the the dub

The dub is fine.

But Rentons voice did start out crappy at the beginning.
but from what I saw in the last episode it's getting a lot better.


The power ranger is Johnny Young Bosch. He also did the voice of Vash in the Trigun dub and Claus in the Last exile Dub.

does anyone know why eureka did what she did today? this episode had her merge with that rock formation and it disfigured her. Holland told Renton not to pilot the Nirvash anymore. Why? You can PM me with the answers..and does Eureka ever change back?

I need to find this on bittorrent. Cartoon Palace stoped putting it up. It pisses me off.

if your having trouble downloading all these episodes why not get a limewire or bearshare program it is a lot easier.

It takes too long. Plus torrents are far superior.

ok well did anyone see ep 49 towards the end where eureka turns completely green and then on ep 50 she is back to part bug and part human form, what happened there.

They showed the 50th last episode of the series and i've seen a majority of them and by far this is one of the best i've ever seen. The character developement and story is wow.

I honestly didn't like it at all. Everytime I tuned in on the show someone was always crying.

Well ya gotta really see the whole thing and understand the context of whats going on. I understand tahts theres a lotta points i was like wtf? but then i understood after contemplating the situation.

yah the beginning of the anime was slightly confusing, i missed a few eps in the middle cuz i didnt care that much, but lately ive been watching and its pretty good, but i missed like the last three episodes, its ending soon if it already hasnt

its an amazing series, and the love between eureka, and whats his face, is fantastic, the innocence i love it, its almost the kind of love you want in real life, but doesnt truly exist

heehehe exactly and the fact that others around ya would die to save it. Its as though everyone around them knows that thsi is something taht they want to preserve and all their efforts are to save that which is the world. Just because one such love exsists not all the world is bad and they are willing to save it based on that simple idea. There is so much symbolism in the whole series its amazing.

The ending was awesome but they are showing it again on this saturday because supposidely they edited a lot out of it and its not really the correct ending. O>O

the only thing i truly did not understand was about the charalion or w/e before eureka, she was in love with that man, (im not good with names, and i didnt watch a whoel lot of this series) the master guy, who had the drive implaneted into his chest, she turned into a flower like structure, where she basically shielded herself from everyone and has lived their for ever since, without aging, she was in love with him, and just left him no goodbye or anything, idk just seemed wierd

I get it that those were previous attempts to unite the Human and the Corrallian specieses but failed becasue they were missing something. Those were basically delays to find the true two. The boys father and sister also attempted to delay the "summer of love" but failed to stop it. The guy who had the thing put into his chest was basically sent to find and give prophecy to the rest of the world to who the true uniters of the species were. When you see the last episode you will be like O .o

yea this series was kind of confusing but when it was over i was like

I tried this show earlier and disliked it and so I stopped.

I tried it again some months later toward the end and decided to watch it just for the heck of it because it came on right after my normal shows I watch and nothing else was on.

I must say................after all that I watched............I do not understand one bit of what went on, except for the Soccer Match Episodes. Ha.

SO yeah.....................I wasn't invested in the show at all. And even though I don't get this Anime, I still think the ending lacked quite a bit.

Its not easy to understand really unless you see most of it and certain episodes. There is so much symbolism its mind boggling. You really have to take a couple perspectives to understand why and how things are occuring in the series.

i got a question why did dewy have a compack drive in him and how was it able to affect eureka and anemone, also how was it of any importance

Dewy apparently also had a vision and somehow had a encounter with the coralians. He planned the whole thing apparently for Aninome and Ereka. He made it so he either brought his battleship to blast the control cluster himself or for the girls to be triggers to blast it on his death.

See, now i absolutly loved the series, it was one of the best iv seen, right up there with Gundam Wing, it had only one fault in my opinion, the ending was waaay too confusing, and Bones left room for a sequal but so far no sequal, does anyone actually understand the ending?

*edit* i just went and saw the dubbed version for the heck of it, as usual the japanese one was way better, *sigh* why cant there ever be a better dub? Rentons voice was...okay, sort of similar, but Eureka's voice was way off.
