If we're talking Cable at the height of his powers, I think the X-Men may stand a chance. And if Apoc is written to potential they can win it.

Yeah I give it to the X-Men sans speedblitz.

I wonder if Aquaman's magic hand could "cure" the mutants of their mutations. If so, the x-man lose bad.

You totally underestimate GL. Apocalypse take him out by stepping on him? You must be kidding me. GL makes giant hands and rips Apoc's armor right off.

Even if he was able to do that, the ring would protect John if he isnt ready or siply warn him of the potential threat. Prep or no prep.
