i really hope this will be the last X-men movie they have all sucked this one looks as though it will as well juggs is bad looking for some odd reason Pyro is a bigger character then collosus who doesnt have a russian voice i mean they have screwed up one to many times im tired of getting all hyped to see the next and low and behold it once again sucks

well if people on this forum have something against the movies dont post here

take off. dont bash the siries. they have been pretty damn good, true im a little annoyed about the non russian accent but thats the way the dice roll. i hope they dont stop making x-men movies, or maybe start x-factor movies.

i hope this is the last 'xmen movie' n lyk it has been sed do some x factor ones

I have the amazing ability to enjoy every film I watch, even if they are bad to 99% of the world :P

they messed up all the characters or most at least i mean cmon juggernaut looks so not juggernaut like he doesnt look realtively like him i was wondering who he was for sometime till a thread was made about it and in the previews he isnt wearing his helmet thats just stupid!
cyclops was one of the few good ones and they are taking him out for most of the film or so i hear. collosus hasnt been in basically anything except for one quick scene angel might be good hopefully nightcrawler another good one a not in the film did he just teleport away again? mistique why the hell is she naked i dunno does anyone i dont believe they do. Storm halle berry isnt very storm like and she is draining the people of their money wanting more and more cash they need to donald trump her! Sabretooth looked like a friggin hobo sure they couldve given him a different costume but he looked so hobo like and was like magneto's pet and was basically silent. nightcrawler was attracted to mystique or they made it out like that i mean she is his mom for cryin out loud. pyro he is a good character but the couldnt find one australian actor who was good same with collosus toad was all weird looking he was like a guy from a rock band or something but he was okay and they killed off half the brotherhood hello XMEN DONT KILL!!!!

thats nice but i have been reading X-men for years and years and years and i was frankly dissapointed i think Hugh jackman has proved himself though he has muscles now

I hope they make 3 more that way they can revamp and recast. that way X4 won't even feel like X4...it'll feel fun and fresh like the orginal movie (though the first movie needed some work...I mean power absorbing Rogue over Classic miss marvel Rogue? whose "bright idea" was that. but overall I enjoyed the Wolverine...I mean Xmen movies.

I like what they did to the characters and the story in the movie, exept for Storm perhaps.
A correct adaption of the comic would be travesty as a movie, would look ridiculous and would most likely only motivate fans to go to the cinema, and that would certainly not be enough for making such a movie successful.

Btw...portraying Mystique as being naked was simply brilliant! It makes perfect sense with her powers and is certainly not sounding half as stupid as an unstable-molecule dress.
Nightcrawler was not sexually attracted to mystique. To interpret it this way you surely have to look through "puberty-glasses".
He was just fascinated by her...for obvious reasons. Being the only blue skinned, yellow eyed mutant my whole life and then seeing another one would certainly draw MY attention.
X-Men have killed several times. And Sabretooth and Toad are NOT dead as you would know when you would have read the comics that were following and preluding the films for more information.

family guy725, you are getting all mad for the most littlest reasons. Its too early to judge this movie, you havent even seen it. X3 is also being directed by someone else, not bryan singer.
-I think the xmen movies so far are decent. Not totally true to the comics but i thought what came out of it was decent. I thought the whole X2: xmen united plot was f*cked up since they couldve had the same thing...all xmen, mutants good and evil uniting to fight some greater evil like apocalypse or sentinels but whatever. thats a more better reason to hate the trilogy and be prejudice about X3

I in part agree with Family Guy 725, the X-Men movies have been quite dissapointing. When you have movies like Lord of the Rings, Sin City, Hellboy and Harry Potter who for the most part stick to the ideal vision of the characters they emulate; what's so hard about Bryan Singer and his ilk doing the same? What if the Spider-Man movie had Parker dressed in a black leather trenchcoat and wearing no mask. Would you still think he'd be Spider-Man? What if Hellboy was portrayed by some orange male fashion model and spoke with a southern accent? Would you still approve of the film as being great? There are certain qualities that just shouldn't be changed and the X-Men movies have done it all. From Wolverine turning into a " handsome " 6'0 guy to Sabretooth coming off as a mute babboon. Are you going to tell me these are acurate potrayals of these characters? I for one think they took entirely too much poetic license when making these movies and pretty much chucked everything about the X-Men that I personally liked and replaced it with sex appeal. ya now that i think of it more, it was very untrue to its comic origins. courtesy of bryan singer. If singer was still directing beast would look like a cat. anyways, i still am curious about the new film. the xmen movies so far are decent to me. yes they couldve done so much better, same with practically every comic book film. Theres always someone that wants to change the base of it. can you name a good comic book film?

well for people who arent comic readers and have no idea about mystique being nightcrawlers mother they get that idea i know alot of kids i know did when we saw it. like half those people dont know rogue was with magneto

Sin City! It was a nearly PERFECT movie.

I doubt Sin City, HellBoy, and LotR have been around nearly as long as the X-Men have (as the X-Men have gone through so many changes) and I can't for the life of me wonder why people would want to see the same storylines repeated and the same characters dealing with the same issues once again...I mean it's been done in the comics (and various alternate universes) and the cartoons already...

I think X-men 1 was ok but X 2 was really cool. From the looks of it, X-3 will either be really great or really crappy. But i bet it will be great. My only complaint is the one i have had since X1: Where the hell is that Cajun!?

Whoa Whoa Whoa!! hold on there buddy but LOTR came long before X-MEN was even a thought, though your right about the fact that LOTR has not undergone through as many changes as X-MEN because Lotr is a consisent story and its not ongoing, so you really cant change it. But yeah the rest of those comics have not been around as long as the X-MEN.

I don't mind inconsistancies as long as they flow well. The Juggerbra I don't think is going to settle with me.

Well i dont know what to tell you... i am a huge Classic Juggernaut fan, so im not all that happy with his new oufit, but it is a movie and maybe they had trouble coming up with something to look good for him. I'd say give it a chance and dont go into the movie thinking its going to suck, and at the same time dont go into thinking its going to be awesome cuz whatever happens with either of those two mindframes your going to be let down.

And comic readers like us know that it was just fascination about finally finding someone who is like oneself, so there is pretty much nothing to complain about.

im not saying for them to take a group of comics and make them into a movie it wouldnt work because they would have to keep making them.
But they should try and do stuff like the comics for instance i have said this already but they shouldnt have the x-men slaughtering all the bad guys they have already killed 4 bad guys out of what 6 now 7 if you include pyro but they wouldnt be able to kill him he was still a x-man but anyway the only reason they kill is a last resort ex: the only reason storm killed marrow was because there was no other choice your telling me they couldnt have found another way to beat sabretooth or toad, especially toad he wasnt nearly as much a threat as sabretooth. Besides Rogue wasnt a lil ***** like in the movie

How about you make the god damn movie then family guy and see how good you do...people need to stop whining..besides you didn't even see part 3 yet..it could suck or it could be good. NEW DIRECTOR AS WELL so you can not say part 1 and 2 sucked so 3 will with a dfifferent guy.

im not complaining much about the third but with the preview it looks like another totally magneto based film i fudging tired of it the brotherhood wasnt the only villain group ok what about mr sinister or someone like that but no it will always be the brotherhood this time they have stronger people and 3 new members juggs,phoenix, and callisto more than usual thats good hopefully they dont kill off everyone im hoping jean and magneto will die but things like juggernaut i mean cmon he has the helmet bolted down for a reason he doesnt want it off unless he is tring to blend in but in the movie he doesnt have much to bolt it to now does he im a huge juggernaut fan and im disappointed with that that is what makes me mad about the third already i know they have to kill off phoenix and most likely wont yet but no one knows besides cyclops isnt really supposed to be in it you dont see him in the previews do ya no you dont that is very very uncool but hugh jackamn is good now

me too they give us "grumpy old man" Magneto in 3 films in a row but no Sinister, no Apocalypse, no Legion, no Scarlet Witch, no Hellfire Club, no Quicksliver, no Havok, no Psylocke, Nightcrawler only once, no Card throwing mutant guy, and most of all....NO CABLE. the b@stards.

actually I was just talking about Apocalypse. Sinister would be cool, too.

Honestly thou dude how much worse could he look? To me he looks like a conan the barbarian throwback at a gay/bondage club. I really like Juggernaut but that just looks wrong.

I will however wait until i SEE the film to make a formal judgment. Im all for people having the own opinions blah blah blah but when people sprout off before even seeing the finished article its a bit stoopid.

The films needed to appeal to everyone, not just fan-boys. The films were brilliant, I don't care what anyone says.

X-Men has as much worth to me as the Daredevil and Elektra films.

Any reasons why Daredevil was a bad movie? (if you ARE implying that it is a bad movie) ...besides the fact that ben affleck was in it

Did you see those movies?! I mean come on. They were perhaps the WORST of the Marvel films to ever make it to light. I have no problem with Ben Affleck but he didn't come off as Matt Murdock to me. He was more of a Rick Jones character if anything. He's a decent actor when he's doing a comedy/romantic comedy. Also look at his suit. It looked like he was being forced to wear a scarlet gimp suit instead of a somewhat menacing " devil " suit. They could've done much better. Had Affleck gotten a better script and different director things might have been different.

I liked Daredevil more than Spider-Man 1 but that's just me.

Daredevil is quite appalling..much like your taste in films.

OK, let me set things straight... (side note: I've been hanging around the OTF too much of late and feel I may have forgotten y'all... my sincere apologies)

Daredevil wasn't horrible, it wasn't great but it was good. And the X-Men movies, in my opinion, are superior to the Spider-Man movies. Pyro will have a big role because Colossus's role isn't as important. If this is the last movie (which you hope) then you will never see Colossus in a big role. This will focus on Beast and Angel, probably because they were in the original X-Men.

If this is not the last X-Men movie, you will not have to see the other ones. If you hope no future movies happen Marvel will have less money and will fail to produce the comics you read. And you will never see:

Apocalypse
the Shi'ar
Psylocke
Emma Frost
Gambit in a big role (he will be in this one right?)
Mr. Sinister
the Blob (why, oh why haven't they done the Blob yet?)

in a movie. So please shut up.

his suit was supposed to be like a biker suit...how some parts of the leather protect you lol, i watched the behind the scenes...

Wasn't that bad...Marvel can't afford a brilliant, big-budget movie for all of their major characters.

I remember being terrible disappointed when 'Queen of the Damned' made it into the big screen

Superherohype has a thing up from some guy saying its the last of this trilogy...which probably means "its the last one until they try to revamp it and make it for the XXX or Fast & The Furious fans, and ruin the idea of 4-6"
