Don't much care for Jerry Ordway's version of Adam - with the long nose and widow's peak, he looks like a creepy child molester. He should look more grand.
I don't know how consistent DC has been with Adam - they need to decide if he's an anti-hero or villan. I like him more as the former, though that would remove him as a top adversary for Marvel.
And all these artists - can they remeber Marvel wears a sash? It's not a belt.

Though I'm a fan of Alex Ross, he makes Adam look too evil in those drawings; not proud or distinguished enough. Adam is much better as an anti-hero than a standard villain.

Prime clearly screamed out in pain after the first punch ( I know what he said... but still...).
It's also a common misconception that Black Adam was hit off the planet or some sort, but he moved about what seemed like 100 feet or so from the tower, and got teleported away. Plus, he's also in perfect condition.


And of course, the latest Adam.

His whole body gets in intense pain when he comes close to pieces of Isis's amulet. The only indication he shows of this pain is from his thoughts.

you know ... i giot it the other day from my library , and i thoufght whiel it was badass in some aspects .. it was kind of low showings aswell

i'll explain ... when i saw arrows piercing him, MM melting his face and saying that BA wasn't holding back and trying to kill them with every punch he landed i thought ...really?

his durabilty was downplayed to make his charecter vunerable but rage godly

I find it irritating that the writers are always finding ways to make BA stronger than everybody else. Even after Billy became simply Marvel, Keeper of the Rock of Eternity, able to boost his physical and magical power to unimaginable levels, Adam somehow defeats him again. I'm not badmouthing Adam, I'm just saying they keep making him unbeatable.

i think they depowered billy/marvel , if it were old wizard shazam he could of stripped adam of powers or sumin after all he was spectre's peer in terms of power . I wish billy woudl be CM again

Isn't it that Black Adam is just as powerful as Captain Marvel but he just doesn't hold back so he 'appears' stronger? I know they used to have CM and Superman even but recent stuff has made him appear slightly weaker like Wonder Woman is but Black Adam probably stands a better chance since he doesn't hold anything back. He's not superior to Supes but he has the magical edge because when a Marvel punches Supes he actually feels the pain and everything from it.

Marvel has a strength cap of 100 tons that they've only recently started to go over and Superman can lift in the hundreds of thousands of tons. I don't find it possible for people thats are only over 100 tons can beat supes, black adam, captain marvel, and what not who can lift that much with a finger nail.

In Marvel 100 ton + means exactly what it says Thor, Gladiator,and Juggernaut can all lift way over 100 tons just like Captain Marvel, Black Adam, and Superman.

Marvel has been over the 100 cap for a while now are you slow? Thor was seen smashing 80 tons tanks on a molecular level with his hammer back in journey into the mystery. He was seen throwing his hammer so hard that he could destroy entire mountains. Gladiator was seen lifting buildings and destroying planets etc. There was no recently anything. Both Marvel and dc started out with every one weak. Superman couldn't even fly, and Human torch known as toro wasn't as hot as star. They both around the same time started to go crazy powerful, then depowered to lifting over 100. There was never a baseline of 100 for anything. Thats how some dc fans see marvel characters with out knowing just like how some marvel fans think Hulk can take out Superman, Doomsday, and despero because its all they read. Anyway Black Adam is way over 100 ton march, he lifts things that way several hundred tons, and like usual he doesn't hold back which is why he seems to strong. In the early years of Superman supergirl was said to be stronger, but then they revealed "mental blocking" which is why Superman seemed so weak. Villains don't have mental blocks unless they lost to a telepath.
