IGN has posted, saying it will be out Dec 31 2006?!

That can't be right. I found two other sites, one says March 28

Either of those sound a lot more accurate.

ComingSoon.net is a reliable source.

DVDAficionado.com says March 28 as well. I trust that site so I think this is the correct date.

I smell an extended edition.

I hope there is an extended edition of this, with all sorts of special features, and a longer edition of the movie.

Yeah, ComingSoon.net is my best sorce and usually is right... can't wait. IGN looks stupid for saying Dec 31 though.

That price is ridiculous, maybe if you could get it now it would be worth that but on March 28 you can find it at some stores for $11.99 or somewhere around there. That's about what I pay for every new DVD that comes out.

A longer edition of the movie?! 3 hours wasn't enough for you? What could they have possibly left out that would make any difference?

Given the fact that this is a PJ film it is very likely that there will be an extended DVD coming soon. I'd say March 28th is the correct date for the regular DVD. And December 31th for a possible 4 disc set.

I'm sure they will have a special edition but that wasn't what IGN meant when it was dated Dec 31, plus they changed it and so did cox-internet.com to March 28 now so ComingSoon was right all along.

It's offical now, Amazon.com has annouced it's March 28 DVD release in widescreen, full screen, and 2 disc special edition widescreen... mark me down for that one!

anyone get the 2 disc yet...i rented it one disc and no special features other than kong commericals...

I've got the two disc edition, but haven't watched it since it's for someone else.

Not out 'till April 10th here
