I don't find this thread title very amusing at all

A very good friend of mine has just been diagnosed with aids. I've known him for a long time and i was totally destraught when i found out he had aids. It worries me how easily he caught it. I was allways under the mistaken impression that you had to be gay, or sleep about. But he wasn't like that at all, and didn't do that kind of thing. He caught it at work of all places. He worked on a building site and trod on a nail. It was a bent one.

It's common knowledge that AIDS is just as common among Heterosexuals as it is among Homosexuals.

Sorry about your friend. I wonder how AIDS got on the nail? Someone else with AIDS could have stepped on it. And if so, they should have notified someone about the hazard or removed it himself or something if he/she knew she had AIDS.
