Spidervlad vs. Pegs

Judge: ShinobiRikari

Render: ninjas

Criteria:
~ Both people must be in view
~ Must have a quote
~ Max. Size: 150x500 px, 100KB
~ Transparency is required

Deadline: Monday, Febuary 6th, 2006, 3PM Pacific Time.

Render is from a series called Naruto, and the characters are Naruto and Sasuke.

To do Transparency: Merge All Visible Layers, and Save for Web as a .gif

Even thougt I never saw NAruto, i'll look up some quotes.

That's not a render...it must be a precut image, it's part of the rules.

sorry, had to rewrite the criteria.

That's still not a render...

A render is an image of a character that has been cut from it's background. A render is 99% of the time saved as a .png.

Wasn't it supposed to be precut for me?

one solid color background.

The background is supposed to be transparant. Meaning that a sig maker will only have to click on the moving pointed, just move the picture to his sig, and bam, the figure is there, with no background.

Then you got owned :P Cause renders are precut pictures. You don't have to cut htem.

All you have to do is select one part of the gray, click similar, and then hit delete.

Transparent...that's what Spidervlad meant.

Doesn't work. THe background turns black, and whenever you move it you get the black background with it

As long as it's only one shade you can use the Magic Eraser and, voila, you have a render.

Why does it come out bad quality whenever I move it over to my sig after resizing it..................

hmm i dont suppose anyone can tell what the critia is because that whole page made me confused. i know we are using what render becuase spider posted it in his sig ^_^. and its 500x150 / 100kb right? any spacifics?

heheh i dont do it too oftern, its just very easy to do...

Its just a gradient made small. you put 2 bg's on. 1 as normal BG, you then cut around the piece you want to glint and put it above that in the layers. then all you need to do is Tween it in Imageready

I did make the bass at the top left sparkle. but the file went huge so i had to take it out

forgot to mention it also doesnt make the file apsalutley huge. unlike most of the animations i make

You both had great designs, but I'm going to have to say Pegs wins, great job guys.

i was going to make the outline (outside of the border) transparent. but for some reason it kicked the image size to about 300 kb

and btw, spiders sig is: 50.01 KB (51215 bytes) so its within the 100KB limit

Have to lower the number of colors, usually.

Unless you were trying to save as a PNG, then that'd make it huge.
