so, here it is, something to think about? Madame Pince? Scary.

wow, that IS a lot to think about, that was really good, i love these types of analysis, we should have things like this more often...

It wouldn't surprise me, and JK does like to use characters that have been mentioned in the briefest passing before, I'm fairly sure Mung, Sirius and Scrimgour were all mentioned in passing, not even as back ground characters, at least a couple of books before they made their big entrances. And of course Bill and Fleur - not exactly major characters, but then they pop up more and more.
So I guess Pince could very well turn up in a more important role.

I like the analysis dear mistressofsnape. It gave me a lot to think about during my re read of the book and when i am reading it i shall try to make my own decisions.

I dont really have anything to add to misstressofsnape's theory, but I have my own. If you look closely, Hagrid mentions that he overheard Snape and Dumbledore arguing. I think that Snape did not want to kill Dumbledore.I also think that Dumbledore made a horcrux. I think that Horcrux is Fawkes, because Dumbledore said you could make animals horcruxes. The only thing is, I haven't figured out who Dumbledore would have killed to make that horcrux.

I also think that I figured out the whole, "You look just like James, but you have Lily's eyes" thing. J.K. Rowling said that Harry having those traits was significantly important. I think that Lily was an animagus and her marking was her eye color. I also think that Harry inherited the animagus ability from Lily. If you think about it, James was the only animagus known that had children and Harry inherited some of his animagus traits too, His patronus being a stag. Think about it

Did he not kill a powerful evil wizard before Harry was born in some war? this could be a way of creating a horcrux..although i disagree with the theory i was just stating.
I think the analysis is good and the effort also great but i think that theres going to be a simpler theory. I think JK wont go off on all these past characters to unravell all these amazing plots because theres too much to be done in one book. I have a sad feeling that the plot will not be the complex and amazing one the readers expect.
