The OTF is constintly suffering from people posting duplicate threads or other against the rule posts. Current Moderators seem reluctant to do anything about it and it's always the same people. Threads can be closed but it has little effect on similar ones being opened in the future.

When will something be doen about this! I personallythink that at least one new Mod should be appointed to look after the OTF because, as disrespectful as it seems I don't think Storm can do it all on her own and she isn't alawys here. KEN4Mod

The irony of it is that members are bitterly complaining, yet are unwilling to take their responsibility by reporting threads. The majority of duplicate threads I either merge, or close, and troublesome threads I deal with, are unreported.

Those future threads will also be closed.

While I do try and report my fair share Storm i don't think it seems to have any effect at all. For every thread you close twelve more appear which deserved to be closed!

So then report them!

I personally report everything I see in the OTF that shouldn't be there or is breaking rules....though I don't post there as much as I used to.

And more will open and people will grow tired of reporting these threads and will stop posting in the OTF (like Lana) then the OTF will be filled with threads which deserved to be closed! Look at the Mafia thread! RP or not just look at it's content!

And if it is so bad, Why didn't you take the time to report it?

DW I started a thread on it being an RP and thats why it should be closed. I reported bashing in it and I PM'd Ush and Backfire about it!

Used it...on a few seperate occasions! Ush and Backfire's reply was quite simple. Ush doesn't want them clamming up his domain so he's leaving them on Storm's patch!

GMG, you have already been given a ruling, by two different mods, clearly stated, about that mafia thread.

These complaints following that are bordering on contemptible. That matter is dealt with and we do not agree with you. Live with it- do not keep moaning about it.

There will be no moderator for the OTF. Raz has stated this on many occasions. Nor will quality control be applied. The purpose of the OTF is to keep all the rubbish in there. Quality control only gets applied in other areas.

The matter should have been left at a report and nothing more. The basic point remains. Use the report system. Don't start moaning like this just because mods don't agree with you- which is the actual reason for you complaining.

Look, just give me the power to perm-ban for 3 minutes, that's all we need

It was Raz who told me to start this thread.

I accept your ruling on the Mafia. It wont be closed ok. Fine. However the rest ofteh OTF is still there.

If you are claiming that the OTF is getting filled with threads that do not belong there... then you know the mods do not agree so that is going nowhere, even if there were many of them, which there are not.

If your complaint is that mods do not close totally pointless threads, then that is simply untrue, they get closed in there all the time. If they get reported, they will get closed, it is that easy. What you mean is they don't close the threads that you want closed. Well, your opinion is not a criteria, I am afraid.

If your complaint is that the OTF is full of rubbish... then that is the idea.

I dont see what the big deal is,I think the mod's do quite a good job with the OTF, and if they closed everything and banned everyone reported it would get a little too strict, as after all the ''off topic'' IS the rubbish bin of Kmc.........So I think it should be left as it is and Storm seems to close the threads that need to be closed.......

If you dont like it in there, simply dont post in there.

Best thing you can do is Report, I suppose. Remember: the OTF is there just for that purpose (to be OT).

What do you want?

Don't post there anymore, or deal with it. If it's intelligent conversations you want, try the GDF.
