OW! I know how that feels, I break my nails all the time and rip the fingernail...

One of the most painful things ever is to stub your toe.

Injections pierce flesh and they aren't even as painful, nowhere near.

Okay, well I don't do it all the time, but I have, and it hurts. I am pretty sure you can put special polish on your nails to prevent the nail from tearing if you stub your toe.
