Yes he does.

What can Megaman do?

Depends...there's hardly a standard accepted power set for him, and there's numerous incarnations of MM. He'd have to specify which one.

From what I know, though, most iterations of MM would get Owned. I've never known him to be anything more than an Iron-Man-light style fighter with (occasionally) a lightsaber-looking sword.

New Avengers beat the crap out of him.

None of them are robots, so therefore he can't really absorb any sort of data. MAYBE he'll get Iron Mans Repulsor Blast. He's probably as strong as Spidey and resiliant as Wolverine at best.

X and Zero vs the New Avengers would be slightly more even. Still lopside for the Avengers, but more even.

I havent read the comic, but in MMX1 Megaman was able to do a hadou-ken like Ryu and anything he shot it at would die instantly so that should be able to take out a few Avengers

I know next to nothing about the Comic incarnation of Mega Man, however I'm very familiar with the game character. He's a robot with superhuman strength, reaction time, agility, and speed (he can run faster than any human being, but he's not a speedster). His AI is advanced enough to mimic human-like thought and strategy. His body is covered in a flexible, titanium alloy armor.

Mega Man can transform either arm into a particle cannon at will, called the Mega Buster. His primary attack discharges focused pulses of plasma capable of penetrating and vaporizing armor plate. Mega Man can also focus additonal amounts of power into his Buster for significantly stronger, larger blasts capable of vaporizing multiple, armored tanks, walkers, and so forth. Additionally, Mega Man can focus energy within his fists to supplement physical attacks, like as his Mega Uppercut.

Mega Man also has the ability to copy the abilities of other technological systems. In the games, he must always defeat his target first to emulate their technology. (In other words, he could not emulate Iron Man's technology right away)

Against the Avenger (without Sentry), Mega Man goes down. He's strong enough to overpower everyone on the team individually -with the exception of Iron Man- but he's not powerful enough or fast enough to take them down all at once.

The odds change quite a bit if Mega Man is given some of the powers he obtains later on in the games, but if this is his "base" form with only his innate abilities, the New Avengers scrap him after a brief battle.

X and Zero are a different story. They are a quantum leap beyond Mega Man in every way and represent the very definition of teamwork. They take the New Avengers (without Sentry) down just as fast as the Avengers take down Mega Man.

Hey dont underestimate Mega Man.
Ok X is more powerful but Mega Man is
much cooler.

"Abilities

* Strength and Speed: Mega Man's enhancements give him extraordinary strength. He can lift and move enormous amounts of weight, as demonstrated in Mega Man 5, in which he braces the upper levels of a fortress from collapse. He also possesses agility and speed that far surpass the most gifted athlete
.
* Design: Interior endoskeleton is composed of strong, lightweight titanium alloy. Outer epidermal layer is composed of a Light Industries made synthetic ceramic polymer that has skin-like texture. Has magnetic joints located in knees and elbows to reduce fricton and wear. Legs contain air cavities to absorb shock when jumping. Powered by a microfusion generator located within his chest cavity. Traditonal two tone blue exterior armor frame also made of titanium alloy. Nano-robtic cells allow for nearly instant reconfiguration to change from hand to weapon.

* Variable Weapons System: An advanced form of Rock's original ability to use any tool, the Variable Weapons System allows Mega Man to adapt the attacks of his enemies and make them his own. However, he usually has to defeat them in combat first. The VWS also changes the colors of Mega Man's armor as an unintended side-effect.

* Slide: Introduced in Mega Man 3. Allows Mega Man to slide along the ground at a high speed to evade attacks and enter small crevices.

* Jet Adapter: Introduced in Mega Man 6. Allows Mega Man to fuse with Rush and become "Jet Mega Man". In this form, Mega Man is equipped with the "Jet Booster" and can fly or hover for short periods of time.

* Power Adapter: Introduced in Mega Man 6. Allows Mega Man to fuse with Rush and become "Power Mega Man". In this form, Mega Man is equipped with the "Super Knuckle", an ultra-powerful, short-range attack that knocks back foes and breaks blocks.

* Rush Adapter Introduced in Mega Man 7. Allows Mega Man to fuse with Rush. This form combines the two previous Adapters, allowing Mega Man to fly and launch a rocket fist. Bass stole the plans for this and adapts it for use with him and Treble"

actually potentially megaman/rockman is more powerful than x or zero. it was shown in the manga.

DigiMark007
But he's still just Iron-Man light, no matter how many of his upgrades you give him. Tony would take him down himself...and without dedicated forcefields and whatnot, I'm sure Spider-Man could do the same.

Mega Man's cool as hell....but out of his league here.

Mega Man's cool as hell....but out of his league here. Not true. Tony has the edge against "base" Mega Man, but the odds begin to favor the Blue Bomber as soon as he starts getting access to his powers. For instance, Mega Man with his various time control powers, would make short work of Iron Man. He could stop time, then crush Tony's suit. Rock's feats of strength suggest this possibility.

That conflicts with the game storyline, which states that Zero alone is strong enough to easily overwhelm Mega Man and Bass. X is > or = to Zero, so he must also be stronger than Mega Man. The storyline also states that X's potential is truly limitless and his feats back that up.
