That's next issue which comes out in a couple of weeks.

due to the fact that kara has been soaking up pure, unadultereated solar energy in her space pod for thirty some odd years, she is the closest thing to pre crsis, this side of E2 supes and SBP. so when dark kara says she's the most powerful being in the universe.....I almost believe her!....and that scares me

Yeah I think it got cancelled. I believe Supergirl #7 (One Year Later) becomes #6 with Rucka taking over writing duties. Maybe Jeph will squeeze it into #5 since it has extra pages.

He's powerful, but even she knows Supes would woop her.

And she's got a lot of great showings, but man Luthor owned her hardk0re. Just shows the league he plays in.

I'd like to see a Supergirl arc where all the heroes on earth unite against her because every time she gets together with another Hero/es she ends up kicking their ass/es. So they bar her from coming anywhere near Earth. She's does what they ask for awhile, but then she gets bored and decides to just go an apoligize to everyone and sais that it won't happen again. But then she ends up kicking everyone on earths asses at the same time.

Gl rings come off really easy nowadays, ask majestic About KAra tho im really extatic that they got this whole black Kryptonite thing outta the way from early.....that way we have a defintive evil version of her, and they wont be forced to cheapen her character again by doing some "oh look somebody is mind controlling her, and using her formidable might for evil....ooohhhhhh." then when its all over she has to go on self exile to go "find" herself, and question whether or not she still wants to be a hero, blah blah blah, reg. internal turmoil.....

at least this way with an evil version of her running around, there'll be no need for anyone to try to corrupt good kara, and if worst comes to comic book worst, at least thier would be somebody else out there to keep her power in check just in case she decides to go rogue

#4 was incredible. I liked how Loeb recognizes theres no air in space during the scuffle with Flash yet Kara can still talk like normal....in space....with no air....WHAT? The jobber aura he puts around the S shield is incredible.

i can't wait for more scans, its really funny to see everyone getting beaaten up by the superhero newbie......................

Really. Granted with Krpytonian physiology and all that, Kara probably weighs a good 200-250lbs. But by human standards she's probably barely 110lbs and the girl is beating the hell out of a big bad military man with a ring of limitless potential.

Ok, thanks. I dont have much access to the latest comics over here so Im still trying to piece IC together

why in he name of jesys would theyget rid of black KAra as a farewell to jeph loeb? i almost feel sad, and upset at the same time

jeph got rid of black kara by himself. maybe he had to speed up his time table, being rushed an issue, but the plot of "curing" kara's good and evil imbalance is his idea. he ended his run by putting her a step above her previous problems, which was his own farewell to the character.

Yeah, a not so subtle nod to how late this book is. Basic Premise: Kara and Karen (Power Girl) are both in the bottle City of Kandor fighting against a Kryptonian dictatorship led by someone named Kal-El who looks a lot like Superman though it's made clear it isn't him. Kara and Karen have assumed the identities of legendary vigilantes named Flamebird and Nightwing respectively. If you're wondering, the Kryptonian Nightwing is where Dick Grayson took the name from after meeting the original duo back in his Robin days.

-Kara takes on some anti-Kryptonian thugs on the streets of Kandor. She's not as powerful because of the red sun environment but she still has abilities. She uses her speed and strength to her advantage. Power Girl intervenes in the fight.

Issue #6 was a decent read though, much better than the previous issues. When's Rucka leaving the title, and who's taking over?

They took Rucka off the book so he could finish his 52 issues. Joe Kelly takes over next issue.
