I believe in equality etc so I actually get pissed when

A) there's hardly any gay charcaters and

B) if they are gay, they don't have any personality except being a homo.

So can people name gay characters and actually point out if any are realistically pulled off

The only stuff I can thin of:

Electro (bisexual)
Colossus ( I think biusexual)

She's not. She was dating Flash recently (still is, if memory serves), and I never remember her being anything other than straight.

Apollo/MN'er are the only ones I read much (Khell mentioned them). But they actually have personalities (especially MN'er) so it's cool. And they actually write about others coming to terms with them (like Kev, for example, who is more than a little homophobic) so it's a bit more intelligent than some.

Why didn't Marvel make any " flag ship " characters drastically different? Why not have Ultimate Captain America be black? Why not have Ultimate Spider-Man be hispanic? Why not have Ultimate Wolverine be homosexual, bisexual and whatever else sexual there is? None of the extremely popular characters are obscurely and drastically different. Why?

Because changin someone's sexual orientation is dumb. And making Colossus gay is a crime just like if they made Wolverine female.

Considering it's suppose to be Ultimate Colossus, I understand the drastic change. But why did they only limit it to a few characters? Colossus, Mr. Sinister, Vision, Ga-Lak-Tus, Nick Fury. Etc. My concern is they didn't drastically alter the flag ship characters to a point they were " different " and " interesting ". Why didn't they change up the Fantastic Four? Or Spiderman? Or Captain America? Why didn't they try something NEW with Hulk? If you're going to make alterations to characters why didn't Marvel go all out?They picked a few nobodies that wouldn't stir controversy or interests.
