so he's supposed to become an analyst with nbc (i think). anyone have any thoughts on this move? think he'll be good? anyone else pretty much sick of athletes leaving the field and jumping into the booth?

i think bettis may be all right, but it strikes me as a bit unfair that others who have worked years in the field can't land these cushy gigs, but some athlete ends his career and just hops into a booth. curious what others think.

I think you're correct. The hard part is Bettis seems to be quite a charismatic and funny individual....plus he's got a million dollar smile. You can't help but like the goof.
