So, can this powerful Jedi woman defeat Qui-gon? This is Nomi as of the end of the Exar comics, not redemption.
bad_boba017
Nope. I think Qui-Gon would win, even if he did get pwn3d by an apprentice. I wish they showed more of Qui-Gon's skills.
Fishy
Yes, Nomi seems pretty good although she does hate to use that lightsaber of hers.
Illustrious
Nomi would win.

Qui-Gon was teh pwnage. He was wicked cool.

Ark Bumpy-Roose.
Veneficus
The Hell? Nomi would pwn Qui-Gon!

Exactly my point. At this point, however, she has the same amount of training as ROTJ Luke, but Luke's limited training in ROTJ is considered one of the biggest reasons he wouldn't win in most fights.

*gasps at the mace=badass sig*
Love that show!
Um, Qui-Gon wins.

About the same training as Luke?
She trained under Odan, she trained under Thon, under Arca she has been in more fights seen more action and she has been trained for months.
The first time Thon talked to her she had already been training for a month, with another Jedi thats already more then Luke had from ANH to ROTJ. Thats still excluding her time on Onderon and her months on Osus studying under Jedi Masters there... She had way more training then Luke did.

Yeah, someone doesn't know his TOTJ.

What a surprise! And it helps his favorite character, too.
Huh. What a surprise indeed.

Maybe you should figure out your timeline first. Luke had several months of training by ROTJ. Obi-wan had even set up his house to train Luke later on. Luke has about 6 months of training by ROTJ. How much does Nomi have? About 6 months. It's about the same amount, Luke haters.

Luke spends most of his time after ESB on board a ship, or hunting Boba Fett he barely had enough time to construct a new lightsaber before he had to leave again, all he did in the mean time was fight a bit against nobody's... I would hardly call that real training.
and there is a huge difference between training under masters with other Jedi and training with books holocrons scrolls and what not.
