Hmmm, well i decided 2 make a new theard, as all the other ones are way old and i didn't know if i could renew them or not

So i made a new one and hopefully this theard will stay alive lol. Here we can talk about John Allerdyce (aka Pyro) or the actor that plays him Aaron Stanford.

Ok I guess I'll start it off.

I thought Pyro was great in X2. Cocky, a rebel, etc. They didn't try to make him out to be anything that he isn't. He wasn't some really good kid gone bad in a tragedy or something made up like that. He also kicked some ass at the Drake house lol. I thought he was great....I'm really looking forward to what they have him do in X3.

I really like him. He's cute and rebellious! In fact, I used him for one of my unofficial music videos. He is the star of my "Chaotic" video

what do you mean "didn't make him out to be anything that he isnt"? the movieverse version of pyro is nothing like his canon counterpart, for one. and considering the writers of the movie are determining what he is and isn't he is, by default, only what he is.

i love his hair and apparently that was Aaron's own idea too and i like the dark image too with the dark clothes they so suit him and i love the fact that he has the little box lighter thing stapped onto his wrist now and all he has to do is press a button and then he can just........ LET RIP WITH THE FIRE...lol i think i'm just in love with the gorgous bad boy that can manipulate fire lol

Even though the movie version of Pyro is completly different than the comic version, I like the movie version 10 times better. I saw a scene from the movie and Pyro and Iceman were fighting and Pyro says: You shoulda stayed at school, then Bobby "Ice's up" and puts out Pyro's flames and says: You shouldn't of left! Man, talk about intense.

I hated Pyro as a comic character. Movie Pyro radiates heat and intensity. He is such a cool character.

Hey. Im kinda new to this place but i saw X3 yesterday...
It was neato, but not what i excpected at all...I excpected to see a lot more of Pyro in it lol.

Also, im having this kinda "bet" with my dad...He bets Pyro died in the fight with Bobby...However, i don't think a head-butt is sufficent enough to kill somebody...SO what really happened? Did Pyro live on? We don't see him after the fight!

Why not? The X-Men are all about giving people another chance. Remember that in the comics, Rogue was originally a member of the Brotherhood, but they still took her in. They also took in Senator Kelly in X-Men regardless of the fact that he was a major enemy to their cause.

and in the X3 novel doesn't Bobby carry him to the xjet?

Dunno. Pyro is generally referred to as a member of the Brotherhood, so I don't think he'd be an X-man anymore. Plus, it just doesn't suit his character.

i find it amusing and convenient that they didn't have Pyro standing guard in front of Jean's house when Xavier and the Xmen go there to find Magneto and his team already there...

I know he fights them in the last scene but only directly with Bobby. IN this scene at Jean's house, that would've been an awkward fight. Student against former teachers. Probably planned it so wont' have to exchange too many words.

Oh yeah, I didn't realize that. I was kinda looking for him at first, but my attention was quickly shifted when Jean became out of control.

Mystique wasn't there either, right?

Mystique had been cured and dumped by that point.
