what could mangog possibly do that the JLA combined couldnt.

The General took on superman and orion at the same time and held his own for long time. Don't count the General short, the general healing factor will keep him in the fight.

Damn to bad this is the last season of JLU it's being replace by "Legion" I wanted to see more ass kicking since darkseid came back and with new powers and the anti-life equation.
