What made me think of this is when I read the Uncanny X-Men comic in which Lorna and Archangle were going wed. They had bachelor partys, they talking about people sleeping around, they were making jokes about they dark secrets making ya know english series types of jokes. Oh and one gay guy as well, what's his name North Star.

lorna and warren were never gonna get married. and the x-men comics have always followed along modern-day american lines of thought. sex jokes included. gay canadians included.

Surprise, surprise, since the comic is written in the US and it's heroes live in the US!
