Pick 7 (or 8) people from Marvel and DC only to make your ultimate superteam, and tell why you chose each member. The team has to be roughly balanced out in the ratio of Marvel to DC characters.

Batman - resources
Captain America - Bona Fide leader
Martian Manhunter - great strategist
Iron Man - resources and technology
Sentry - Powerhouse
The Flash (Wally West) - Speed and fun to have around

2. Energy Superman - Coz of his abilities

3. The Hulk - Big,Ugly,Powerful

4. Batman - Brains and his equipment

5. Doomsday - Being nearly unkillable

6. Parallax & The Ion - You guys know why

7. Cyclops & Havok - Being so cool and ofcourse of their abilities

8. Wolverine - Agression & Healing Factor (he is just classic)

9. IronMan (all suits) - Technics and brains (and of course the firepower)

10 . Deadpool - I think all of us might need him though

11. The Flash - Speed

I know I wrote more characters, but there so many I could still write a lot

Pretty sick team. You have Supes and Sentry who are practically invincible. Thor owns shit, Flash is the fatest man alive, and Strange and Zatanna are two incredibly powerful magicians. And when thinking is involved Batman will hide in some remote corner of the universe and tell everyone what to do.

Superman- power and comic popularity
Batman- Keen strategist, has money to fund the team, fighting ability
Martian Manhunter- Power, telepathy
Wonderwoman- A warrior, wise, power
Thor- Power, can control lightning, a warrior, noble
Capt. America- Great strategist, hand-to-hand combatant, team leader
Iron Man- Technology genius, has money to fund the team
Spiderman- A hero who adds a more human element to this team of ultra powerful heroes, fun to have around, loyal.

Ion- he is SO powerful
Martian Manhunter- power and tactical
Batman- hey, he's batgod!
Magneto- he's pretty much gonna smash up most of the robots they face...
Thor- he's pretty powerful, LOL
Dr Strange- great magician
Wonder Woman- godly crap

Nah really, hasn't Beyonder been given a really bad reputation lately with even Dr. Doom showing him up? If so, Ion's gotta win that battle.
