Its also my birthday tomorrow, although drinking in the midlands is hardly gonna be a patch on getting pissed in New York which is what I did last year when I turned 21. (hey mech, i'll probably be in Wolverhampton or Merry Hill, if there's gonna be a drink shortage it'll no doubt be there.) for all those with poor maths skills, that makes me 22 tomorrow as i head of into the sunny realms of majorca on the Friday. woohoo.

I think we're going to the "Royal Oak" in Quinton SP#10, Merry Hell is a little too far to get back from when you're as pissed as I'm gonna get. Have one for me though eh?

We have a parade in my neighborhood every year for 4th of July. Whenever we do it we all wonder why no one is out there and then we realize that we are all in the parade.

I must say in New York last year I was a bit dissapointed with the celebrations, the fireworks at night were good but in the daytime it felt like a normal holiday or weekend day.
btw, i am now 22 and now pissed - excellent, btw i am going on a nine day bender and will come back sober in about a month.

Talk about a major hangover.

I just got back from a fireworks show put on for free with free food and alternative entertainment. It was awesome. We had these 3-D glasses that makes the fireworks prism-like. The whole show cost thirty thousand dollars. And then they blew it up.

I got a really funky tan yesterday. Some places I failed to rub too much suntan lotion, and I got burned.

I look really goofy, like I've got rashes on me, or something.

I hate it when that happens. Sunburns suck. The only cool thing (for me anyway) is that when it goes away you have a great tan.

I had one all over my back and shoulders awhile ago. Tan tan tan tan tan!

My skin is peeling from a sunburn on my arms from Gulf Shores.

Happy Belated Birthday to the birthday folks.

Had a wonderful day at the park/beach on 4 July. fireworks display set to music at night. had to wait 2.5 hours to get out of the park, crowd estimated at 50-75,000 people, so traffic was frightful. rather wait and leave at the tail end, than sit IN traffic.

I was really thinkin about the 4th of July (the day my grandfather died with a heart attack) and realized that presidents Thomas Jefferson and John Adams died on the same day as my grandpa (and vice versa).
