Short-viewed; I would go back to 1994 to prevent my mom's death and tell me myself to do better in school and to ask that nice girl out and more of that....
Long-viewed; I would go back 20.000 years or so and stop apes evolving to humans

Nope. I wouldn't go to the future. I'm more interested in Greek Mythology.

You would be alive, becuse the same could be said if you went back in time, say, 50 years. You didn't exist then, so would you not exist back in time, or not?
