Some guy has a laptop with windows xp running on it. The text and menus are so small you can't read anything even when magnifyed. Programs run fine though. The themes and font size is set to the defaults.

What can be done to fix this?

Sounds like the GUI has been altered to 8-bit, no idea how to fix it though. Any chance of screenshots?
