master Chief gets access to every weapon he has in halo 1 & 2. Iron man gets his basic suit. Will master chief's inherent badassness be able to take iron man?

Not really. I can't really think of a weapon that Chief has that could penetrate Iron Man's armor, and Iron Man is infinately stronger than the chief.
