JOE NUNEZ
TYRANT FULL POWER vs. DESTROYER ANIMATED BY KING THOR

grey fox
Disintegrated.

Mider
tyrant does what the celestials did to it wreck it

KillAll
tyrant isnt anywhere near as powerful as a celestial.

i'd say just the opposite, the destroyer armor puts tyrant in the dirt...

Mider
you wish he wasnt but he can take on galactus and galactus is above the celestials

KillAll
says alternate realities right???

well i'm entitled to my opinion (based on marvels sayings, and on panel, CANNON depictions of celestials being more powerful). and you to your opinion.

celestials are leaps and bounds above galactus (a single celestial that is.}

CaptainStoic
I kept looking at this thread wondering what to say, and I'm still wondering. Tyrants kinda strong, but then again so is the Destroyer, I read about Tyrant and The Destroyer... and I'm still wondering... I got it has the earth heroes ever stopped The Destroyer? If so Tyrant has him beat.

kgkg
it says full Power ( Galactus level)

Full power tyrant will smoke it

Darth_Erebus
Full Powered Tyrant kills the Destroyer.

JOE NUNEZ
yeah but look at whos animating the destroyer.

Marcus4600
Animated by King Thor? Wouldn't Tyrant be proper f*cked then?

Odin along with the lifeforce of all of Asgard and its inhabitants powered the Destroyer and it failed to scratch a single member of the Celestial host. King Thor on his own doesnt match that amount of power. Empowered by just him the Destroyer would get slagged.

wink

CaptainStoic
Here's something I pulled up about the Destroyer and it's capabilities, do you think that Tyrant, even at full strength can go unfazed or even survive?

The Destroyer can project bolts of energy of many different kinds, including an unknown form of energy that could shatter any known substance, including uru, the Asgardian metal from which Thor's hammer was made. The Destroyer can project magnetic energy and flames which can reach solar levels of heat. The Destroyer can transmute and rearrange atoms and molecules so as to change one form of matter into another. It can alter the density of matter and convert solid matter to liquid or vice versa:

The Destroyer's most formidable weapon is its disintegrator beam, which, it is said, can annihilate anything. To disintegrate something, the Destroyer lowers its visor; the destructive energy then builds atop the visor and fires outward from it. The Destroyer cannot fire disintegration blasts in rapid succession but must wait for the disintegrating energy to build up again.

I mean is his body stronger than Mjolnir? These are just questions, the Tyrant I read about didn't seem to be at full power, but it can be argued that even the Destroyer that confronted The Celestials was at full power, because it only had the combined power of the Asgardians inside of it, what would happen if it contained the power of the all of the pantheons, this would include, the Olympians, the Egyptians, the Africans, what is now known as the North American Indians... and so forth... I realize that this thread states that it would have to be King Thor alone, but if your talking about a fully powered Tyrant I don't see how it's possible, he and Galactus fought and nearly destroyed an entire universe. So no I don't think Thor alone in the Destoyer could beat Tyrant, but I do think that if the Destroyer with all of earths pantheons should be more than capable of crushing him. He would no doubt grow to become larger than a planet.

Read Thor 300 again. The Destroyer that fought the Celestials had all the power of Asguard and power (though not all of it) from 20 other Sky fathers and it's disintigrator beam had no effect on The Celestials so it's obvious it can't "cut through anything". Full powered Tyrant is nearly as powerful as a normal powered Galactus. The Destroyer is going down.

CaptainStoic
I tend to agee with you there... but it still doesn't state whether, or not the Destroyer had a cut off point as to how powerful it could become, this is what I was trying to say.

KillAll
galactus even at a full power couldnt do any more than the against the celestials than the destroyer did. so i dont get what u are basing ur assumption off of.

i thought that galactus and tyrant almost destroyed a galaxy??? cause odin has showed that kind of power too.

Good point.... Galactus and Tyrant both lose energy when they exert themselves this could easily be a battle of attrition and it could go to the being with the greater staying power.

Mider
no that wasnt an alternate reality it was a reality that 616 MU had total knowledge of so thus it makes it canon and feasable they say in that future galactus ate the celestials and there homeworld since it interacts with this universe its canon if any one says its not then i guess in the abraxas saga its not canon when all those alternate reality members of the FF were around or the alternate reality nova's or galacti i guess that never happend but it did big grin
