That's true. I also like Father Anderson(Hellsing), even though he's not really a villian, and Kibi(Soul Hunter), because she so childishly annoying and hard to kill.

Boogiepop is called a villain, though he/she never came off as one to me. In Perfect Blue, MiMania and Rumi along with Mima herself are all really good female villains.

In Gatekeepers 21, Tomokazu was rather dashing even if he wasn't a villain. Legato...Viscious.... Ajo from Key: the Metal Idol wasn't cute, but he made for a pretty good villain, though I liked her voice teacher more.

Heh, I have seen so many anime and it's hard for me to think up some actual villains... There's always an antagonist, but many don't qualify as true villains in my opinion.

My favorite has to be Sesshio from The Rurouni Kenshin series. Maybe just for the fights he got Kenshin into. Anyway, he was the highlight of the series to me! (Did I spell his name right? *ponder)

my fave is sesshomaru b/c he is always to calm about the situation but he is also so about everything and when he insults inuyasha, that is so funny.

On pure liking of the character, I'd go with Toguro.

So all in all I'd say my three favorite are Hiltz, Shishio, and Toguro.

Hmmm for me it would have to be Dr.Jackal (Akabane Kuroudo) from The Get Backers because he's so cool, calm, and collected.He always smiles even when he's slashing things up with his scalpels haha! He can get kinda creepy though once he gets ticked off or has his mind set on something...his attacks are definitely "messy"(Bloody Hell, Bloody Sword, Bloody Hurricane, Bloody Stream) You could definitely say he's one of the more "different" characters in anime heh. Then my second would have to be Broly because of his extreme anger and brute strength.

I am not sure if he is a villain , but Gaara?

I'd probably say either Legato from Trigun or Lucy from Elfen Lied. Most people see her as the protoganist more than antagonist but all things considered she is a villain imo and is sexy as hell

One of my personal favorites was always Younger Toguro.

Another villain, although he only made a brief appearance, was Udo Jin-E AKA Kurogasa. He was like the polar opposite of Kenshin, he thrived on killing and battle.
