I played Warhammer. Not very good, it'S a funy game though. I thought about starting a new army, although I don't have anybody to play with.

Then you'll love it! Lana read a few of the novels. That's how I started and got hooked. The hobby is a bit to expensive...but for me it's worth it.

It is indeed I get all the stuff like my badge and hotel room paid for....that's going to be an interesting weekend. Especially as I've volunteered to pull an all-nighter one night and will be in charge of the department that night

Never played the Tabletop games for Warhammer, but the RTS game Dawn of War, which is based on the 40k version is absolutely superb, great action and great fun.

Other than the stuff I'll be getting free, dunno But as I won't be shelling out $40 for my badge and...ummm....$400 for a hotel room (as I'll be there Thursday to Sunday even though the con doesn't start until Friday), I'll actually have money to spend in the dealer's room, assuming I get time to go there

In Dawn of War they're pretty short, only one campaign and it's pretty shitty. The campaign isn't the reason to get it, it's for the skirmish/multiplayer.

However, the expansion, Winter Assault, has a greatly improved campaign mode that allows you to play all the races except the Space Marines (because their campaign is in the original game). Also adds a new race and a bunch of new maps. If you get Dawn of war you should get the expansion too.

Dealers pack some sweet rare items. You're lucky you might get your hands on some rare collectibles before they open the show. And there is time to buy stuff. When I go to conventions I always get goosebumps when I'm on line waiting for the room to open. I just get giddy thinking of things I might find.

I've been to loads of conventions so far, and I love the dealer's room, you can get so much cool stuff for so cheap there this year I plan on picking up some artbooks, they sell them as cheap as $20...I have one I bought online when I was 15 that cost about $50.

Artbooks are always a good purchase. Regular books you can them in any store. Have fun!

For a minute there, I thought I had stepped into the Mods Lounge.

My 5th period teacher was making fun of "Anime 'freaks'". It was funny.

Also, my friend collects Tau, Imperial Guard and Space Marines, mainly focusing on the Tau. Has a large array ammassed.
