Ok, so I need to know how to play video files that are half an hour long on the web using windows media player, realplayer, or quicktime. I know there's a code for it but I'm completly stumped! And ideas?

LanceWindu
Do you mean you want them to just load and play so you can watch/listen? If so, simple...be paitent.

Otherwise get the latest codecs to make sure the file will play.

Or do you mean you want to insert the video's onto a page via html?

XxbrokenxX
I meant what you said eggmayo.

Well... you have to upload them on a hosting site, and then link to them.

I'd use either Google Video or Tinypic Video Hosting.

I don't think you can direct link to either of these sites, IE you'd have to give the link like

http://tinypic.com/randomurlgoeshere

rather than using HTML tags to load them into the page.

Half an hour of video will take one hell of a long time to upload, too.
Better leave your PC on overnight and pray to the great broadband god in the sky.

Hopefully, the sites don't have any size limits.

Most hosting sites do have limits on what you can upload though.

I've never actually bothered trying, I own my own hosting space.

T.M
I think most have upload limits.
