Seriously, though, Kang relies so much on technology, all Jeffries has to do to win is transmute whatever device Kang tries to use into a toy or something.

and that would merely create a alternate timeline, but the real Jeffries would still be alive. Whatever Kang does to manipulate the timeline it just creates a new timeline, leaving the main one intact.
