Rogues kiss theory.

Ok, so bear with me on this one.

This can be deleted if it goes **** up but.......

Would Rogue be able to kiss if she pulled off the olde Batman & Robin?

By this i mean the scene when Robin has the layer of thin (i think)rubber over his lips so that Poison Ivy's poison kiss wont, well, poison him through contact.

Surly if this can stop a poison transferring between the two skins it should be able to stop her absorbing powers kicking in. The only other thing i have to back this theory up with is that by wearing gloves, or anything for that matter to cover her skin, it allows contact (of a kind) with other people without her power working. Im not saying it has to be the rubber tread from a car tyre but a thin enough rubber (or anything really) that would allow her to kiss and feel it.

Technically, i suppose if it worked she could coat her whole body in the stuff and ....... well, you know. Be a pain in the ass thou.

Anyway, just a thought.

Yes true, they do touch, but i think Rogue would be extra careful to make sure that wouldn't happen if only her lips were safe.

Fair enough it would kill a bit of the passion of the moment but beggars cant be choosers now can they. 🙂
