For our next feat, Reed defeats The Black Celestial in a battle across time, after cursing it to its face.

Context: After penetrating a time bubble even alternate *Kangs* couldn't successfully get through with his Rad-D (another feat in itself), Reed and Co. discover the Black Celestial has basically increased Galactus's hunger to insane levels, forcing him to begin consuming the entire universe.

After Sue apparently dies, Reed apparently loses it, talks some smack right to The Black Celestial's face, and then leads it on a merry chase across space and time...until, after commanding Thor to open another portal, Reed suckers the Celestial right into Galactus's universe consuming vortex, where it's destroyed.

It's then revealed that while Reed was truly grieving on deep inside, the over-the-top, out-of-control anger he displayed was an act to further fool the Celestial, in case it was telepathic.


Issue 338: One of the Kangs explains how they got trapped in the bubble, and had to rely on piggy backing on Reed's invention to escape:

The story here is that Doom has promised not to try and kill Reed on the Latverian holiday honoring his mother's memory, and has given him an open invitation to the embassy. The two play a game of chess in their minds (each one naming the next position for each piece) while Doom secretly uses his Doombots to search for a mysterious object that he knows Reed possesses.

Reed proceeds to defeat Doom in chess, while simultaneously revealing he knew about Doom's other plan all along, which has also been defeated. Then, in a gesture of incredible generosity, Reed reveals he has the object on him, and gives it to Doom anyway...

he's a character of BS comics Inc. Created from the repository of all BS energy in the Omniverse. Batgod is the person that all Batfanboys see multiplied to the infinite term. He's the hiearchy of intelligence, martial arts, powers, badassness etc. Defeated TOAA and Presence with .000005 milliseconds of prep.

i have seen him numerously catch the thing with one hand while he has fallen out of the sky.. or to put him down.. he doesnt even struggle with the 500lb wieght of the thing...i think thats some credit..

Reed has just been revived, and is completly caught of guard by theire predicament...With the use of Ironman (powerless) Suit, spiderman's webshooters, and some energy build up from torch and Monica Rambeau Reed was able to blast the team out.

616 Reed goes to his room and brings his toys. One of these toys is a Universal Entropy Gun which is able to destroy a Celestial and make the Celestials from Eearth-4280 ran away. Even the IG from another Universe failed to do so.

This just shows that Reed can indeed pull almost anything off his ass. At least when the situation is needed.
