Surfer Vs an Omega Level Cable

Note: During this fight Cable didn't have his full attention toward fighting Surfer in, this alot of his powers were directed elsewhere. Plus there was CIS in it since cable coulda've done a BFR on him among other things.

was i the only one who thought that the gravimetric wave cable created to stop the chandelier shouldn't have been the sum and substance of his "cone of silence"? i mean, he put merryweather in a bubble and had himself protected in the prequel to blood of apocalypse. why would one gravimetric field, away from his body, leave him vulnerable to a bullet from some patsy with a gun to the back of his head?

but nearly ALL of issue twenty four is a tactical feat. cable's a scary guy...don't screw with somebody who knows the future and can read your mind.

Cannonball is invulnerable and unstoppable in his flight mode, he can fly at jet speeds. How is not a feat? He also had it up when he punched him, if you look at the scan.

if anything, i should be upset with you for misleading readers of this thread. you were ttempting, with your summary of the feat, to make it seem greater than it was. which obviously worked, as juggernaut6666 and ichigo6666 clearly didn't take the time to actually read the scans and assumed that cable actually knocked out cannonball.

Say it was a rematch, in an isolated non inhabited planet. I think Silver Surfer would still take the match. But we would see more from both sides, and the fight would last a bit longer as well.

Cable did not get rid of the T.O. until Cable #100 in 2002. However in 2001, (Gambit and Bishop mini). Stryfe makes comment on what Cable is capable of if not hindered by the T.O. Ironically many of what he claims, is vary true if you read carefully Cable and Dead pool #1-10.

I don't have a scan of it, but there's also an early issue of Cable (Probably the Fathers and Sons storyline) where Nate mentions that because of the techno-organic virus he can only lift a few tools around while Stryfe could potentially move mountains.
