What is the best showing of Batman in a comic without it being PIS?

Hush is very good, it is my 2nd favourite best showing of Batman after DKR.

Hush.... but I actually preferred Batman in the Long Halloween. He showed a dark, intelligent, yet rugged side to Bats. Loved the stubble.

I liked how in DKR they portrayed him really Dark and brutel as well fearless.

Well, not bad in DKR.

I didn't like him in Killing Joke. He just seemed too.... normal. Not dark and brooding enough, more like an ordinary man with a long nose and a cape.

He had a long nose from frontal view in LH though.

u said it and yes this is also the best portrayal of batman as well IMO along with Dark Victory. then id say Hush and i would say hush is the best, but i just didnt like those little bitty bat ears, in LH they were much bigger and seemed more intimidating. batman

I always loved the art of... it was Kelly or Kerry something... Kelley Jones? It was in the mid 90s... he did the art on Red Rain...
