Popeye invades DC and is pissed off at the thinly veiled rip-off that Captain Strong was, so he's come for retribution.

He's eaten 1,000 cans of spinach and calls out current, post crisis Superman in Metropolis.

Well, I stand corrected.
I guess he can punch out Supes if he gets close enough. But he has to dodge some heat vision if Supes gets pissed.
