This is an oldy but goody for Frankenstien fans...Its called Frankenstein: the true story. Its from the 70's and was a TV movie but you can find the uncut version on the net(ebay). It takes the story on a more believeable path...instead of being this stitched together "monster" from the start, the story involves Dr. Frankenstein trying difference experiments with regernerating life from dead things. He has some success with a severed limb but later when his brother is killed in a boating accident, he moves on to regenerating a whole person(his brother). He is successful at first when his brother seems reborn(he has to learn all over again-talking, eating, etc) but things go bad when his brother starts to de-generate...he begins to get deformed and acts deranged...eventually turning into the "monster" we all know from the Frankenstein story. A really good movie overall!!
