lets see if people thought it was any good my freinds say it was crap but i really want to see it, can people put apinions and post scans to see fro my self

I think that he's utilizing the powers of the artifacts behind him, but I could be wrong. Either way, Krona was already powerful, but Galactus probably wasn't at full power, and more than likely was blindsided.

As we were saying in a different thread, the series was VERY DC bias. There are a lot of battles that went on wrongly. The most debated one: Thor vs Superman. Superman should have been roasted.

Still, if Supes is giving everything he's got too, both right from the get-go, he's going to blitz Thor anyways. And KO him or could just slap his hammer out of his hand like Gladiator did except across the solar system rather than across the city. Thor's power is greater than Superman's, as it's far more versatile, but in a fight, Superman definately has the edge, imo.

Heh. Superman rogues pale/suck/ are pathetic in comparison to Thor's.

Its the way the fight between Thor and Superman was depicted that really annoyed the hell out of me. If Superman won by a speedblitz, then no question, its a legit win for him but noooo instead we see him slugging it out with a half-brained, brick with a hammer, Avengers Thor.

Basically, Superman won a fight against a stupid foe by fighting stupidly.

FYI, Thor your hammer could be used to absorb energy like say . . . . heatvision, and oh lets not forget youre the Thunder God . . . .

Busiek wrote a book in favor of DC otherwise he wouldnt have a included sh!t phrases like "my dials go to 11" . . . .

People get defensive about JLA Avengers because some of their favorite characters had an off-day, and that's on both sides, but in the end it was an awesome story, with awesome art. The only part I truly didn't like about it... was all the nuthugging everyone did.

But Krona was especially powerful, he whooped Galactus, then captured Lord of Order Kismet, and Eternity, who are the characters that are essences of their perspective universes, and Grandmaster with the artifacts .

He probably would have conquered both universes if Superman wasn't there.

Well, he did say "that would be best team fight ever"

Eh, I don't have exact dates, but it's close.... Either way both the artist and the writer are known for their Avengers tales, and even if Busiek wasn't doing it at that time, he had just come out of a multiple year run from issues 1-56 of that volume. Perez himself arting most of issues 1-40 of that run as well, and their team was the team we saw in JLA/Avengers.

I stopped buying them when I saw a pic of Supes holding Thor's hammer. Maybe WW could pull that off, but Supes? He's not worthy. I felt a bit of bias, but we all know damn well DC'd never let an icon like Supes lose to an outsider. Supes is way more important to DC than Thor is to Marvel. I don't blame the writer. I blame DC. But maybe they were just trying to prevent a fanboy riot. Having Batman yield to Cap is as far as DCs willing to go(Yes people. Batman talked his way out of an @$$ kicking. He didn't lie.). That's probably why they wouldn't let Marvel guys do Batman/Daredevil. Supes VS. Surfer? Never gonna happen because they know Supes winning wouldn't be even remotely feasible. DC cares more about Supes & Bats than they do about telling a good story.

That's a matter of opinion. Bravo had an "Ultimate Superhero" show. Spidey won. I think Supes was #2 and Bats was #3. Wizard had a "top 10 greatest of all time" list and Spidey was #1 there also. Bats was second and I don't remember where Supes placed. There's no excuse for bad storytelling regardless.

It's only your opinion that Thor is more powerful than Superman.

If they received a juicy exclusitivity contract from DC like Busiek got, chances are the series would have been more lopsided in favor of DC .

Thor's beaten him twice, easily. Masterson took him once, and normal Thor did as well. Heck, he took a stronger version of Glads. Masterson took him in Operation: Galactic Storm. Also, Thor fights guys like Mangog, Nefaria, and so forht. His rogue's gallery is nuts.


Also, Imperiex is a joke. Just a Galactus ripoff in a gayer outfit.

Hawkeye is Kurt's fave Avenger. Just one of the man's writing quirks along with a severely dumbed down Thor.

Trick arrows are the solution to everything .

2nd and Fourth are the ones I don't like. The second is kinda dumb, and the fourth suggests Superman > Everybody, which I think is bunk.

suprisingly despite the cover of issue 4, it was ver pro Mavel. Superman wouldn't shut up about how great a leader Cap was, and when the team joined into one uber team to fight Krona, Cap was their leader. Plus the whole thing was finished by one of Marvel's, Hawkeye fired the winnign shot.

when did supes hold the sheild and the hammer then
