Nah, it's a melee weapon....It would die in a long range battle.

yeah they do look similar, but GP02A came first and its more powerful by far(nuclear bazooka, it was actually really fast(despite apperances and had a unbeatable sheild)

I like melee as well... But my favorite are the energy melee weapons...

00 riser is the best there is..

the moonlight butterfly attack would turn the 00 raiser, and all the other gundams/MA/MS to dust.

except maybe the Devil Gundam, it's constantly regenerating.

only if there are dg cells to regen from. the moonlight butterfly nanites attack all technology and reduce it to sand.

It might not be able to defeat Anubis. It would have to find a way around the space compression barrier. Not to mention metatron is radically ahead of (and far different than) most technology and may be unable to be affected by the butterfly.

the moonlight butterfly is a planet wide phenomenon, and it seeks out technology to eat, even simple tools like katanas. it doesn't discriminate levels of technology, it just eats all of it.

^ zechs' tallgeese III might be able to spam that huge mega cannon gun (from endless waltz) since it has a generator on the rear part. heero's wing zero can only do 3 shots, the tallgeese III's mega cannon was designed to emulate and exceed the buster rifle.

The ore itself physically changes the circuitry and technology in an OF when it upgrades or learns. Metatron made technology is capable of self-sustained metamorphosis and generating compressed space fields. Imagine a black hole for this one. But controlled on a small scale, with space being compressed and released on a miniature level. The energy from that is nigh-unlimited. Orbital frames have practically infinite flight and power. They can be damaged, or exhaust their energy, but given the firepower Idolo displayed, and of course, Aumaan, Metatron may be more powerful than we think.

Basically, there is a field of compressed space, a barrier of curved space, around the Frame at all times. The standard one is low level compared to the ones mounted on the shield, or the highest end frames. But we do know that a fully functioning OF can easily tank atmospheric re-entry without any kind of external heat shield or need to slow down the way a shuttle or conventional vehicle would. Not to mention the ability for the compressed space field to cut through air resistance and allow infinite mid-air hovering without needing to use any kind of booster or engines.

As the only other person on this board who knows about Z.O.E I'll step in.

Delores a c class orbital frame (the same type as the games protagonist mech) Crashed into the sea at such high speeds that it caused a tidal wave that swamped a whole city. Undamaged, Delores flew back into orbit in seconds. That's how powerful Orbital frame's are.

One of the uses of compressed space technology is the vector trap. In the games they are used to store Jehuty's sub weapons. The vector trap functions as a sub dimension where things can be stored.

The anime showed that Orbital frame's could use them in combat. Hathor and Anubis both absorbed incoming attacks into their vector trap. Which means an orbital frame could likely defeat the moonlight butterfly this way.

Jehuty also used it to safely detonate positronic bombs during the Antilia raid. The Vector trap was used to contain the blast and prevent the bombs from destroying the space colony axis. Btw, when Anubis used it, it was also used to stop missiles in flight. The missiles were still moving when they were redirected.

The game says that OFs use an Anti-Proton reactor as the main power source.

FYI, Dolores and Hathor, though class C frames, are nothing compared to Anubis&Jehuty. That probably goes for Testament and Iblis as well, but I never played Fist of Mars.

A&J's plans were developed directly by Dr. Rikoah Hardimann, IIRC. The father of Metatron based technology. Given that they were the core of the Aumaan system, Anubis and Jehuty are the most powerful OFs in the game's canon.

For pure strength, Jehuty was able to stop a out of control hover train with several cars behind it easily.

As for the destructive power of compressed space, the vector canon and burst attack come to mind. The ultimate expression is of course Zero Shift and Aumaan.

The general consensus on most boards that know about ZOE, is that they can singlehandly solo most gundam and associated armies.

well yeah, gundam falls into the "real robot" category (with the exception of G-gundam), z.o.e is borderline super robots if not labeled as such already.

mazinkaizer would give it to them though.

but i wonder if the nanites would be somewhat stalled in the compressed space upon entering it, only to be allowed to attack once the field is deactivated.

...........I think you're missing the concept. There is a barrier of space that curves the air particles, energy and space around the OF. The runner can fire beams of energy that they can control with their mind. The homing part is their own thoughts guiding the beams. How the hell are nanomachines going to go through a barrier of space? It's always on, even if the frame is idle. You have to physically shut down the OF from inside the cockpit to remove the field of compressed space.

the raiser runs on GN particles and seemingly never has to refuel/recharge. it's power is only because it can harness two real GN drives simultaneously and setsuna's ascension into a innovator by long GN particle exposure. the A-laws almost copied that technology several times.

GM Particles could be magic pixie dust as far as anyone's concerned, it's only ever half explained. Everything else is just fan speculation. Pulling GM particles to say it's a real robot is like pulling in metatron to make the same point. Point is, it's a unrealistically fast suit that can make dopplegangers and pierce just about everything one way or another with brutal force. That's about as real as Dante's demon busting moves in Devil May Cry.

Zaku,Wing Zero, Z Gundam, those are real robots. Like O-Raiser, they require a leap of faith somewhere down the line, but O-Raiser by comparison is God.

I'm gonna need a little more of an explanation than that. So far, you're not giving me anything that says it can beat Anubis.

I've always been partial to Wing Zero and Epyon, But I also liked the Strike Freedom and the Destroy. The Destroy strikes me as a Death Saurer-lite.

Graham in his various mobile suits. Having actually defeated a Gundam in using his Flag mobile suit.
