I rented Passion Of The Christ about a week ago, totally not realizing that Easter was coming up, and I ended up watching it today, on Easter. Weird how that works. And damn, did Jesus get the piss beat out of him, that must have sucked.

That movie made me cry like a baby. It was really good.

I'm not even Christian and that movie still made me bawl my eyes out. cry
Tired Hiker
Yeah, it was one of the most powerful movies I have ever seen, and it made me respect the man, Jesus, even more.
Nevermind
Perhaps Jesus had a Bondage fetish and wanted to be whipped.

Or, perhaps . . . . this!!

God damn! Everything does look better with Lightsabers! I guess I owe you that 5 bucks.

I watched the Passion of the Christ and it wasnt nearly as funny as the original version. Whoever thought of remaking Life of Brian should have kept all the classic gags in.

You dont have to just be Christian to find the movie sad. However, I guess you have to be Christian to appreciate Jesus' sacrifice deeply
Mišt
Yeah they had it on tv, not a bad movie, thought it would be a lot worse with boring religious stuff, but it wasnt too bad at all. Nothing to make me convert though ermm

Well, I went from a person who hadn't seen the movie to a person who has seen the movie. That's how it changed my life.

If your ever in the mood, find the symbolism in that movie. You will find odd parallels that will frighten even the most stought harded of man...

I think he means like, during the part where Jesus pours wine at the last supper and they drink 'the blood of Christ, I actually took a sip of some red wine. And when they ate the bread, 'the body of Christ,' I actually bit into an eggroll. I swear to God this is true.

Christ has suffered so many things for us...
Now is the time to repent, because as prophecied in the Bible Christ has come a second time on the Earth (Hebrew 9:28)
He has revealed all God's commands which will enable us to inherit salvation (John 14:15)
So the ones who will enter Kingdom Of Heaven are only those who follow the Commands/will of God (Matthew 7:21-23)
What are the Commands of God....
The Passover which Jesus celebrated with his disciples that too only on the 14th day of nissan i.e. once a year (Lev 23:3-44) and Jesus Himself being God obeyed these feasts, but now people celebrte it daily-weekly-monthly as per their convienence...
We must follow the word of God absolutely, we should not modify it (Revelation 22:18-19),
Please receive salvation by keeping God's commands and not Man Made commands...

Have to admit it's hard to get rid of some movie scenes for a long time. You just got stocked no matter you are a christian or not.

Mel Gipson is just as sadistic as the next superstitious person.
The whole story of Jesus is idiotic and pointless.
How does torture of the divine by mortals equate to the divine blessing mortals as sinless? Weird.
