Welcome to littleredhat's Comic Castaway game.
The object of the game is simple.
Take ONE solitary comic character from any universe and and place him her or it into any other universe and explain what you think would happen.
Simple huh?
You can either make it so that your castaway fell out of their own universe in a Alice in Wonderland type fashion or you can seamlessly stitch your castaway into their new home as if they had always been there.
Its your choice.
But there are some rules.
1. Only one character or team may be stranded in any single scenario. Example:You can't have a scenario where Wolverine and the Hulk slip into the My Little Pony Universe but you can have one of them travel to the Rainbow Brite World instead.
2. Your castaway must be 100% stranded. No getting home and no traveling back and fourth. They are stuck where you put them.
3. Don't take this too seriously. Its just for fun and giggles.
Alright I'll start.
Castaway: Spider-man
New world: DCU
Gotham and New York are one and the same. For the past six months it has been host to a new protector. Spider-man. Gotham's current protector doesn't much care for the new hero's supposedly happy-go-lucky attitude towards crimfighting and after being shown up by the wallcrawler aims to discover who he really is.
What he finds is 16 year old Peter Parker struggling to keep up with school and living in a halfway house after being forced to sell his childhood home to pay for his Aunt May's medical care. After researching further he discovers the reason for Spider-mans actions to be startlingly similar to his own.
With the excuse of not wanting all that potential to keep being wasted Bruce Wayne promptly petitions for and gains custody of Pete. Much to the ire of a sixteen year old Dick Grayson.
Peter is freaked out at first and wants no part of Batman's dark lonely life but agrees when Bruce promises to fully pay for his aunt's medical care and his collage for the right to train him.
Eventually Batman teaches Peter to utilize his full physical and mental potential when fighting crime and Peter determination to live a normal happy life inspire Batman to do the same.Preventing a his complete isolation.Pete and Dick overcome their differences and become like brothers and constantly attempt to get Bruce to lighten up with some success.
