who likes LOTR felloship of the ring
and dr who.

I would have to answer no to this, I do like LOTR but I do not like Dr who, so I cannot answer yes to liking them both.

That the "BOOKS...ARGGHHH...GASP....AAARGGHH" only rate 7 out of ten?

kinda like that.....belive it or not, LOTR was the firs book that i actually liked reading. ( u know...not having to do something for school or stuff like that.....not that i would do it anyway )
But then i started reading other books and i liked some of 'em better.

well....don't think u heard of it but....now i'm at the 4th volume of Musashi. Wich without any doubt is better that Lotr ( my oppinion ).
the author might not be better than Tolkien but this book is. Maybe because it's 'bout real things...
we could say Tolkien's works are in part real too......gathered legends and stuff

if the book is about real things or not have nothing to do with its qualities at all. you might like that better than fantasy, but then its up to personal taste and not quality.

If you like books about "real things"...I highly recommend The Fountainhead.

actually i only found out it's about real things at the beggining of the 4th volume.....till then i thought it was only a good story.....still, i'm sure the author added some of his storytelling technique
