Badass of the fight = Iron Man
Badass of the issue = Luke Cage. Getting hitched.

Good issue though. Showed the Avengers working effectively as a team, taking on a powerful opponent. And Sentry did some more stuff.

I don't think so strike . It looked more like she got the other end of sentries powers. She used the power of 'the sentry' but to balance it out the 'void' comes. In her eyes sentry 'was' the void , which what the whole 'purple chtluthlu ' thing was.

Not exactly.Sentry explained to her that it would take full concentration to keep the Void in check which she didn't have so it was manifesting it's self.The Void is a side effect of the Sentry Serum that runs in Sentry's veins so when she took his powers she was a sentry so there has to be a Void.

Holding that much together would take a good amount of psychic ability. His power is on a scale beyond any normal man. Also, he's already tamed Hulk's fury with his mind as well.

Thats just speculation on your part.There was no indication of Sentry using any king of Tp or something of the sort to calm the Hulk.Hulk just has a liking to the guy it's as simple as that no Psychic powers involved.

Hmmm. How about we leave that as my theory. I think he's definately a telepath to some degree, but we've already seen the light constructs and manipulation, superspeed, and so forth. You should post the minis though. There is a LOT about this guy that a bunch of minds on these forums could figure out.

A better word is "Assumption" as a theory contains some sort of proof.

well i wouldnt know how to put him on par with any telepath, but dude did wipe the memory of himself from everybody's mind you know, and in this instance he did some sort of illusion thingy, cuz everyone was asking him what did he do to her, that means his mind must have been having an effect in the first place...to me that tells that he has some pyschic abilty albiet yet to be explored

Did the whole Transmitter thing get retconned?

I don't think it was him who was actually causing the illusion more like her own Void was doing it .

All Sentry did was reveal to her that since she was losing concentration that her Void was gonna show it's self.

Well, it seems to be that the two things carrying the title are Sentry and Spider-Man. I miss the Avengers before Disassembled. Tis the truth. However, NA has been a pretty good book so far. I just with that it put more in with Iron Man and the others from the old roster and what they're thinkin through all this. The only reason I'm reading the book is 2 things:
Spidey's smarts are highlighted, showing he's an awesome team player.
More and more of the Sentry's abilities and showed.

However, this issue did prove to me that Iron Man could manipulate all of his armors in battle. That Extremis armor is amazing.

Iron Man is practically top tier with that new armor. No longer a mid-level player.

Sentry has always been psychic. Go back to the first Sentry mini. He contacted Xavier via telepathy to talk about the Void coming back.

The Void also seems to have telepathic attacks. The Void's tendrils itself would inflict psychological horror as well as physical damage on anything that touched it. During the Hulk mini with the Sentry, The Void's tendrils messed Hulk up bad. It also kinda explained why the Hulk was the way he was.

Both Sentry and the Void seem to have telepathic abilities imo.

The Void seems to have tp abilities as he was threatening the Hulk within Hulks own mind. 'I'm coming for you frankenstein'

I was waiting for him to say "You're Dog Food." Fox knows what I'm talking about.

Although to be fair i agree SS about the adaptoid's Void encounter. But over-all i find Sentry to be confusing because the guy's powers are near enough infinite, he is a mucho cool character though in my opinion.

He's one of those rare Uber characters that is very well written in his own right.

Yup , I have to say my favorite scene has to be him dealing with carnage , just the magnification that happens slowly with the light trail behind him....it's just so damn cool.

Awesome. IMO one of the best Avengers issues to date. Loved Sentry's use of his psychic powers, loves Spidey using his brain and the team work shown. Ms Marvel might as well just accept it and become a member already.

I'm guessing you didn't read the actual comic with all the pages.

The very last page it has all the Avengers in a family photo style pic, and at the bottom it says continued in New Avengers number 21 or 22 I forget what issue.

Plus she said Avengers assemble and said fast ball special Avengers style.

I'm thinking she'll join the team during the Collective arc since the Annual takes place after that. However, it's a shame Civil War and New Avengers: Disassembled will likely split the team since I feel they're just now getting it together.

yeah that sucks.

why the hell would she be joining the avengers? her entire beef with her superheroing career, as she seemed to explain in the first issue of her series, was that she didn't feel that she was respected/deserved to be respected as an individual hero. she was going to get back to basics and start working from the ground up. as far as i know, the first step to becoming a hero isn't joining the ****ing avengers...

No offense but how many mid-level characters have beaten The HULK, THOR, Silver Surfer, Wonder Man, Dr. Doom...etc.

Iron Man beat all those guys before EXTREMIS.

Now with EXTREMIS I think he needs to shoot for RKT...THANOS...Galactus...
