if anyone out there has ever made 'bud butter' before i just have a few questions.

can i use the left over leaves from 'a' plant to make it?
and if so do the leaves have to be dry?

Making bud butter with leaves is sort of a waste of time. There is not much thc in the leaves of cannibis sativa, but there is some. The bud of the cannibis sativa plant contains the most thc, Tetra Hydra Canniboids. You are best off using buds that have been dried. The key to the process is to mix the leaves or bud into the butter, then let is simmer on the lowest heat possible that will simmer for several hours. This way the thc will separate into the fatty acids of the butter and you will get more bang for the buck! This is all from my head and past experience, but you might want to look it up on line for more specifics. smile

You actually CAN use the leftover leaves and the stems, etc I normally make cookies,I find it a great way to use up all the leaf and stems you would normally throw out,but keep in mind, using bud is a lot better smokin'
