Who's on scanning duty this time?

I hope he isnt taken out too easily. He is known to be around post-IC, and I think it would undermine all of the previous events and the things he has already done if he were to be taken down so easily

I can see Spectre trying to take him out. To atone for his previous actions.

but let's be serious, Alpha Flight are the only ones who stand a chance.

Me too dude. These have honestly been the best DC comics I've read in a while.

especially since i just read Villians United in the IC 6 thread. man is Alexander a genius. I'd say smarter than Doom and Reed.

Definately Doom caliber villain. I like him, to be honest. A little too naive though to have the cunning. Definately has the smarts.

I like them better but mainly because I didn't think any of lead in minis were all that good. Day of Vengeance was good but mainly because of the JSA issues.

52 starts May 10th. I guess all the delays on IC worked out nicely since that series starts one week after the events of IC #7.

howso?? Im assuming were still talkin about nightwing. I can see a point being made for Superboy being "responsible" (in the loosest sense) for the loss of Wally...but nightwing?

That's what I'm was saying. SBP is responsible for Dick losing his best friend (Wally) though we really don't know what happened to him.

Wally was best friends with everyone. Probably the most likable guy in DC, just like Barry.

It still isnt clear as to who is the flash. I thought it would be bart, but now hes given the outfit to jay, it could be him. One of the DCU creative team was quoted as saying that in OYL only ONE person would have the powers of the flash, and in JSA OYL jay stil has his flash powers, so that means it must be him

I actually want him around. The DCU could use a powerful villain. He wears an S shield and technically is Kal-El/Superman so you know he won't be jobbed out like Darkseid.

The reason i like SbP so much is that he is superman, but he is from the real world (our world).

Just read it. Mainly one big fight issue, but good nonetheless. Joker's great. Best moment of IC.

So yeah, Infinite Crisis on the whole, a great story. Really enjoyed it.

I haven't read IC7 yet, however if I look at all that has happened so far I feel a bit underwhelmed. Sure the story and action was good/ok. Yet I didn't quite feel that it was a true Crisis, Crisis on Infinite Earths was truly a Crisis. However I didn't get any Crisis feeling from IC. Do anyone else feel it the same way? The biggest Crisis must have been one of the Tie-ins, Countdown to Infinite Crisis, where they killed our beloved Blue beetle

Reading it, I thought it was fairly awesome. As everything comes together now, it was well written. Sad about what happens to Alex though. He should have been uber, but that sure isn't how he went out...

I do want him to come back later down the road. But now I just want to see him die then later resurrected.

The ending to IC7 is very badass!!

The ending was, decent. Didn't like the fact Superman beat SBP, but that's okay. Letting Alex Luthor get killed by Joker was sweet.

I'm pissed that Alex/Superboy's motives wern't related to the Anti-Monitor or Darkseid. Superboy is apparently insane and Alex apparently just wanted to find the "perfect earth"(which would be impossible).

I'm curious about Flash, i doubt Jay is gonna hold the mantle of the Flash, i'm assuming, actually hoping for a new speedster to show up, i mean jay garrick is kinda old to be the flash if you ask me

Honestly, I think this end of the speed force won't last forever. Eventually I think it will come back in some form with either Wally or Bart taking up the mantle.

Yup, I also noticed that fight between Superman and SBP had a resemblance to a certain battle with a thundergod.

Hal Jordan looked the same as after he fought Mongul in Return of Superman.

While Superman was punched hard by DD (as would be expected) DD broke the bony protusions on E2 Superman who held him at bay with his own hand extended. He seemed like he would have owned DD on his own.

Why? There would be no point. He didn't even serve a purpose in the entire series.

I'm still not sure they killed the right villain. Superboy Prime is a good villain in terms of being legitimate threat to pretty much everyone at the same time power wise, but so far he's just a whinging little kid. And a very annoying one at that. Alexander Luthor has much better villain potential.

Though, i guess Superboy Prime could grow into a great villain. They just need to get rid of the whinging persona he has. Have him grow as a villain character.

Also, having Joker kill SBP at the end might not have worked...

Where are the scans ?????? They are usually posted by now .... I only have acsess to this place for an hour a day. I came especially with notion i was going to see the pics.

Current Superman while super pissed and saving the universe is apperently beyond even the insane Superboy Prime, given that he flew through a red sun then defeated Superboy Prime while fistfighting in a kryptonite field that only effected himself.

He was using up his stores, where as before his stores had pretty much no end. It's certainly no less of a feat as our Superman went through everything the same by that point and then stood in Kryptonite that effected only him in the battle.

A few characters theorized that he draws from far more than the yellow sun when doing it as well. Mongul for example, when training Superman for Our Worlds at War, seemed to note this long before it was told to the readers. He believed Superman draws upon infinite energy based upon his desire to win, to accomplish pretty much any task.

Pretty much as the Crisis went on, our Superman was getting stronger and stronger and stronger. Mxy even before the Crisis kept putting Superman through hell... Superman saw all kinds of death and destruction around him that he could do nothing about.... He was on an insane level.

anything else I missed? Yep, pretty much, but there was quite a bit that was effected. A lot of the DCU, the teams, the state and the mentality of the people in it are very different. And the story itself is one of rebuilding by the feel that I get so far. I don't remember too much of the Tangent Universe, its been years since I read it... most all I can recall is the badass wonder woman issue where she gets lost in a thought of what existance is for half the issue, while battling off a host of baddies, then erases them from existance, and anyone that was outside of the bubble that was set up as the 'battlefield' forgot they even existed.
