A thread to discuss the main Civil War tie in book.
So, who else is gonna pick this up? I was on the fence at first, but from what i've read it sounds promising.
Looks like Prodigy and Iron Man will fight in issue #2...

Throwin this out there to show I'm anti-registration. The fact the storyline kinda gets the readers more involved kicks ass.

Are there I'm with Iron Man ones etc?
DarkCrawler

BACK ON TOPIC!!!!!!.......
Yeah I was going to pick it up but I really can't afford to add anymore comics right know. I'm picking up the young avengers/runaways mini and the main Civil war mini.
But Books of doom is ending soon. And The thing is canceled. So I may have enough money to buy it.
Isn't it around 10 issues? how many come out a month? two right?

Please can I use the ms Marvel one as a sig?????
AJ4LIFE
im going to keep them all
SnakeEyes
What exactly is "Frontline?"
Darth Vicious
I actually was gonna be dumb enough to pick up everything but thanks to my discovery of comic books torrents im only gonna get the main titles of Civil War.
Black Adam

Seeing scans of something is a privilege, not a right. And someone with a scanner doesn't always buy everything...you might just have to buy it yourself (heaven forbid).

Anyway, I might just have to pick up #1 for that Spidey interview. But I'm getting CW as it is, so I doubt I'll have th heart to pick up the entire Frontline series as well.

Blatantly stolen from Newsrama.

So i'm glad i picked up issue 1. It was a good read, and i think reading this series along with the main mini, will make Civil War alot better. Gives it alot more depth.
I've gotta say, for me at least, there was no impact from Iron Man revealing his identity. Seems to be something he just does for fun now. But i guess it had to be done.
I knew Speedball would be alive. His powers wouldn't let him die, and with all Quesada's rants about wanting Speedball dead, it seemed obvious he'd come out alive.
So yeah, looking forward to the rest.
Oh, and as for scanning, i would but my scanner's broken down, so i won't be able to scan issues till i get it fixed. If the issues still aren't up though, i'll scan them then.

I said i like her! And While I probably would put the moves on iether one of them or maybe grab their asses I wouldnt, why, because is not the same getting slapped by a regular woman than a super strong one, ouch!
HellMaster93
That WOULD hurt... bye bye, head, kind of hurt!

Im hooked on this book!
Seriously, the last page has me wanting the 2nd issue ASAP
Of course this is only driving me towards Anti-Registation, I mean its apparent that the government as well as SHEILD are abussing their power. I mean technicly, Speedball broke no laws
Its not his fault that Nitro killed all those kids.

I can understand why the government put forward the act, so that it becomes easier to distinguish between heroes and villains if all the heroes are registered. But I am still Anti-registration because the government should tell who the heroes are by their willingness to achieve what is right.

Exactly, I mean I dont think the big deal here is revealing the idenity for most heros, the big thing is giving the government that kind of power.
In the words of the Late Ronald Regan,
"Government is not the answer to the problem, government is the problem"

I think they have come to the point where what is right, is not necessarily legal and what is wrong may be considered perfectly legal.
IMO Cap has chosen to do what is right, but not legal. Tony has chosen to side with the government and do what is legal even if deep down, he knows it to be wrong......
but that's just my opinion

Yep.
Of course that also reflects much about the laws in America today though
