IMO, it's a toss-up between Anakin's and Ganner's. They both died like real heroes.

if NJO, i TOTALLY agree... Anakins for pure gut wrenching (pardon the pun: think of the ampistaff wound) and Ganners for pure ironic heroism

Stupid Lucas had Anakin Solo killed off because it might confuse people with Anakin Skywalker.

I didn't think Lucas had anything to do with that.

In the movies, Count Dooku, after being humiliated in defeat by Anakin and coldly rejected by Palpatine.

In the EU, Darsha Assant, who heroically let Darth Maul defeat her (by slicing her in half) so that she could save her two companions (who were safely locked away) by throwing her lightsaber into some nearby explosive containers.

Anakin Solo's was pretty good. I liked Ganner's too. Chewbacca's seemed a little.....rushed....I mean it would have been better to see the old wook die in combat.

No one could beat him in combat :P
