and. not to mention. he has access to helicopters, Black Hawk's fully loaded and armed, Harrier Jets, and tanks and such which he can get from the Army since there's prep time, and they want to help the Punisher take down batman cuz he cant be stopped.


Batman with prep, of course has access to every single one of his gadgets: Bulletproof kevlar bi-weave batsuit, Bulletproof cowl, memory cloth cape which allows him to fly off rooftops, all of his batarangs, including even the exotic ones too, such as: magnetic batarangs, electric batarangs, and exploding batarangs. he has his grapple gun with jump lines, mini-mines, explosive packets, stun grenades(flashbangs), nerve and tear gas capsules, sonics, smoke grenades, liquid-nitrogen capsules, acetylene torch, Batmobie wireless control in glove, fingerprint kit, laser, infared/night vision goggles, flexible periscope, single marble, bat-freeze pill, pick locks, cell phone and a medikit for emergencies.

oh yea, and he has access to the Batmobile(of course), the Batcopter, Batwing, Batboat ect. all with cloaking devices.

batman's a fighter, punisher's a shooter, but they both can do some pretty crazy schit if they're mad. tough choice.

Tough one. I give the edge to Bats.

bats usually uses gadgets as a distraction from the roundhouse he usually gives someone. punisher just shoots and blows up, BUT he's got some serious millitary training. bats has the edge, tho it doesn't gurantee a win.

oh yeah, according to wikipedia and at leat 5 other fact sites about marvel/dc, "In every Marvel-DC crossover in which the Punisher is featured, Batman gives him a beating"

I'd lean towards Batman. One can think up a billion scenarios, but what it comes down to is intelligence, experience, and skill, and Batman wins to varying degrees in all 3 categories. Punisher CAN win, but in general, he shouldn't. Plus Batman's done way more crazy aiming feats with a batarang than Castle ever has with a gun.

This is a death match, not a detective contest. When it comes to arts of warfare, Castle is Batman's equal at least.

Batman wins. What Frank needs, imo, isn't simply prep time but also an opportunity to booby-trap and rig up the fighting location to beat Bats. As there was no fighting location specified in the stipulations, then I assume it will take place in the standard arena-type setting in which case Frank's access to weapons (there are only so many he could carry) and vehicles (Batman's are better) are of little importance.

I could see situations where Frank could beat Batman, but I don't think this is one of them.

In terms of skill, Batman's pulled some straight up Bullseye crap with his batarangs before. In h2h, it isn't really even much of a contest.

In intelligence, Batman is number one in the Justice League, and for good reason. IQ wise, Batman's a genius. In terms of tactics, he's not notorious for his prep for no reason.

Expereince is pretty straightforward... Batman's been at it longer than Castle has.

Batman uses the resources that he has and defeats an opponent that had previously proven to be too strong for them. (the Jokerized Polaris had previously taken them down pretty easily) It's what he does, and why he's as respected as he is within the JLA. Frank's cool, but his arsenal only has raw power. Batman's has both versatility and a better wielder. Batman should win at LEAST 7 of 10 encounters.

I like Puns '' AUG'' rifle, I remember when I was a kid I held one in my hands.

yea, i gotta agree. i say Batman barely takes this via his cloaking devices on all his vehicles. and with one homing missile i think pun goes down. cool fight tho. if i must say so myself
