Yeah, KJ read the databank entry for Dooku and asked what the Sith weapon was. Now we know it is just a reference to this computer game plot.

there's nothing of course to say that the death star isn't the sith weapon, its a weapon used by the sith, seems simple to me.

remember it has the word "ancient" and the deathstar is supposed to be the "ultimate technological weapon", quite the opposite.
