yes. i think this would be very cool for Batman to use in the sequel to Batman Begins. u know he used fear as a way to glean answers from his opponents. well. what about, PAIN?! Batman tortures his enemies through these grueling methods to the brinking point of death, but yet, does just enough to keep them alive, because he is NOT a murderer, and will NOT become the very thing that destoryed his parents and the very thing he swore to destroy.


1. gouging their eyes out with a batarang (saw it on Once Upon a Time in Mexico, they did it to Johnny Depp)
2. snapping their limbs
3. putting their face on a stove and turning it on(he actually did this in Dark Victory, but id like to see him do something like this in the movies)
4. pressing with weights, but yet not killing them, just intense, brutal and grueling pain until they talk.
5. severing limbs

If he did all that kind of stuff it would kind of weaken his "Im not an executioner" thing. I know you said he wouldnt kill anyone, but mutilation isnt far away.

that is true. he did say that. but idunno, its just a thought. i was just reading Dark Victory and i saw him slam this guys face on an oven and turned n i was just like, hmmmmm lol

The only thing I can see him doing is snapping limbs. That's it. Batman likes to do the "I'm going to hold you over this ledge and drop you if you don't talk" thing but that's not as bad as severing arms off haha.

Batman's methods of interrogate may be classify as torture. You must remenber that not all criminals are easy to confess their crimes. So there are time in which Batman must use drastic measures to get information out of criminals.

But severing limbs? Gouging out eyes? This is Batman we're talking about, not Punisher or George W. Bush.

It's the punishers job to torture people.

True... for Christ's sake... Batman using thhumb screws? Or blunt weapons>? Or scalpels? Or a rack!? Or hanging? Or other stuff...? NO!

Punisher's methods can't be compare to Batman. The Punisher uses lethal methods to inflict torture..whether the guy survives or not is all the same for the Punisher. Whereas Batman ensures that the criminal will not die while getting interrogated.

That was great! And I agree completely! This is Batman after all... if he gauged people's eyes out and cut off their arms and legs he would consider himself no different than the criminals he pursues, and he would never want that.

Have you guys played Punisher the game? Respect to the coffins with granades!
