Onslaught's true form was a purely psionic/magnetic entity. Supes and Supes 2 are in a LOT of trouble if they try to fight it.

How are they going to defeat pure energy?

Armor is one thing, but energy?

superman can absorb energy, look what he did to the maggedon warhead(an object easily capable of destroying a galaxy)

Armor is one thing, but energy? Easy, with his super breath. Seriously folks, Superman cant beat everybody.Some characters are beyond even his league. Thats why supes is in the JLA.
