This is like Soss's Telepathy vs Telekinesis thread, just that it includes all mental abilites, such as telepathy, telekinesis, pyrokinesis, cryokinesis, empathy, the whole shabangabang. If you could pick one, which would you want and why? You can also discuss which would be better at certain levels, i.e. at basic levels telepathy would be better then telekinesis because you could do more with it, but at higher levels you could use telekinesis to make yourself a telepath so tk would be better.

what is empathy

Empathy is being able to feel emotions and danger and the like. Whenever you see someone sensing what an object has been through, that is also Empathy. Empathy is one of the harder of the powers to describe, IMO.

Isnt that like what Powder had in that movie. When he touched the dear and could feel its pain?

or maybe like totalepathikinesis or something.

im guessing like a "heat" kinesis.

Yeah, exactly, though not empaths have to make contact.

"heat" kinesis would be some form of pyrokinesis.
