their was a real people flash movie in the 90's like the cap movie jay was in it so wasent barry but jay was barrys brother and and had no powers also died so barry went badass

If they do it they'll make the main Flash Wally West. For a long time now, Ryan Reynolds has been attached, and David Goyer is writing the script. I personally think Reynolds is a perfect casting choice to play Wally.

wally was also in the movie but he did not have any powers yet he was like 6-7

David Goyer ("Batman Begins" has started writing a first draft of the script for Warner Bros. Ryan Reynolds, who Goyer worked with on 'Blade: Trinity," has expressed interest in the lead role.

i think it would be cool if they made it sort of a squil then wally would be a badass cause of how upset he was when jay died it would of been awsome if wally and barry had powers then ah man it would have been good

Barry's been dead for 21 years. Wally has been the most appealing Flash. It's going to be him.

i say wally or jay bart was the flash in smallville they had barry movie so no need for him to do another one so maybe jay or wally

Itll be Wally, since Wally is the Flash that most people know, both modern readers and people who knew Barry as the Flash will know who Wally is.
Bart might be in the movie as well, since he appears ro be the future of the Flash legacy.
I really hope Renolds will play Wally.

My prediction for a villain is Zoom, hopefully Hunter Zolomon version, I dont know much about the other Zoom, but Zolomons origin story was really good.

It should be Barry, if DC is smart they will make it Barry.

I donno but I would love to see a trailer made with the song Lacramosa, from the Spider-Man 2 trailer

Seriously when All Star Flash launches, I gurantee that Barry will be the Flash, not Wally.

This guy gets nauseous every time he runs. Jay is the first Flash and I think the helmet can aid his brain waves to avoid these symptoms. He was a power & light employee when he suffered the accident. And his shirt should have a cloud formation around the lightning. Just ignore Shazam for that matter will ya.

The Flash movie is supposed to be Barry Allen, but this film has been in developmental hell for the past few years.

Ryan Reynolds is a terrific actor none the less; however appearance is just vital as as acting. Ryan Reynolds look not one thing like Wally West. Ryan Reynolds look more like Jay Garrick the golden age Flash. In the comics Wally West has red hair and freckles behind the mask. Wally inherits his super-human speed at about 19 or 20 years old and Ryan Reynolds is too old to play Wally West at age 32.

Ryan Reynolds, I think has dropped out. So I'm not sure who is playing The Flash. Besides the movie is being based around Barry Allen. I am sure though that Wally West will be in it.

the only way ryan reynolds works as wally is if they're doing cartoon wally, because the comic wally is completely different from the cartoon one (and far more interesting imo). whether he's on board or not, i don't think he'd ever be right for wally...

You are also forgetting that he is too old to play Wally West.

The special effects are really something in this day and age it should be fun to watch.

Thread revived because I really like The Flash.

I have great movie ideas, but I'd like to hear other people's. I also think the flash should be Barry Allen and not have Wally West as the flash until the 5th movie, kinda like how Nolan is putting Robin on hiatus.

But that's just comedic. He has great villains, such as Mirror Master, Trickster, Professor Zoom etc.

i'd prefer wally as the flash, but seeing him fight grodd would be cool.
